Mural Mosaic - The Horse Gift

This is the third Mural Mosaic puzzle I have done, and I love them. The pieces have interesting shapes, and it is really challenging. Personally, this is my favorite of the three I have done; I am a horse person, and I love being able to sort out the tiny legs and muzzles of the horses on the various pieces. I have never reviewed a jigsaw puzzle before, so I am not positive of what I am saying here, in that I do not think these would be a good series of puzzles for children.This is a challenging puzzle for me, an adult, albeit an immature one. The sections of brown, in all three of the puzzles I have done ("Trust" and "The Wildlife Ark" are the other two) are particularly difficult, in that the shades are very similar. I think that would be frustrating for a young person.I am about 3/4 of the way finished on this puzzle, and I am planning to keep it intact, and to maybe even glue it, so I can hang it on a wall in my barn.For the price, this is an awesome entertainment bargain. It will keep you going for quite a few hours! I work on it briefly in the mornings only, and have been on it for at least 4 weeks.

This puzzle had many interesting pictures within pictures and is reasonably fun to do. I had a couple of quibbles, though. First, the pieces are quite small. Secondly, the cover does not display the entire picture, and it is so small that you can't use it to figure out where to place small groups of pieces. A bigger and more complete picture would be helpful.

Any one who likes a challenge, loves doing something out of the ordinary, this is the puzzle for you. Love the beautiful horse, so neat I'm going to glue it and hang it. Lots of cool little pictures inside big picture.
