Good quality sleeves and perfect for storing and protecting my 45's. Now I need to find a phonograph.

This product is intended to be used as record sleeves sized to perfectly fit one's collection of 45RPM singles. The heavyweight sleeves are made of plain paper with a large center hole cutout for easy label reading of most standard 7" vinyl singles. My experience: These may or may not have been ordered while on a weekend booze-cruise. It was great to finally use this product as intended. However, when they arrived, i had no idea what they were because its hard for me to read without glasses. This led to some experimentation... Embarrassing as it may sound, these are not meant to be used as toilet seat covers. Dont ask why, but dont try it either. That said, i did make a cardboard fort in my kitchen from a refrigerator box. Using finger paints and crayons, i carefully decorated the outside and even cut a waist-high 2.5" diameter circle opening to be used as a window. Then, i invited my girlfriend to come over for grilled frankfurters. As you can guess, a plain waist-high cutout in a cardboard box is not very appealing to look at; so i decided to decorate the outside of my fort using one of these sleeves as a carboard fort window-cover. It added just the right amount of "curb appeal". When she came by, i had already placed the fort in front of the stove, and instructed her to sit on the floor on the outside of the fort next to the "record sleeve" window. When the dogs were fully cooked, i offered her a weiner through the hole which (to my delight) she eagerly gobbled up! The record sleeves protected my fort from any staining. Needless to say, we both enjoyed the experience, but then she wanted to listen to music. Thats when the lighbulb appeard overhead. "Oh, i could use the rest of these 'fort-window covers' to sleeve my collection of 45s" The rest is history. So if you have a fort that has a small round window as well as a significant other with an open mind, these might come in handy. But if you have some 45's that need sleeves, these sleeves would come in handy too. However, if for some reason you have all of the above, then this is DEFINITELY for you. Order today!

Being on a tight budget such as I am I simply needed to replace many of my paper sleeves due to tearing. staining and other reasons. Keep in mind these white paper sleeves are not audiophile quality however as I said above they are very much worth the price especially getting free shipping. They have a nice lip on the top edge which makes it easy to insert the record. So unless you are a I and audiophile person these will do just fine. I understand reviews by consumers can vary a lot this is just my opinion and how I feel personally about these sleaves. P.S. The only reason I gave this a four-star instead of a five-star is simply because I wish the paper used would have been a little thicker / heavier but still serves my needs very nicely.

They are better than factory

They are sturdy and easy to insert vintage 45s. I'm sure they will contribute greatly in preserving vinyl conditions.

Wow, I am very impressed by the quality of this paper. The texture and feel of the paper is that it is genuinely acid free while being quite firm and sturdy for holding vinyl record singles. I’m upgrading several older paper sleeves which I bought cheaply about 10 years ago. These old sleeves have already turned yellow and were definitely not high-quality acid free. I had to purchase these from the other side of the planet but I’m glad I did.
