So easy, but protect your hands.
This opened up my iPod so easily. But please wear gloves or something. It tore through my gloves so easily and I had a very minor cut. I cant imagine what my hands would like without it. The key is finding the clips along the side. I found it easy to do 4 on each side and one at the top between the headphone jack and hold button. When I put the last one in it literally fell apart. Amazing than the plastic tools I had beforehand

Good cheap effective spudger but too soft, depending on situation.
Summary: Almost fits every need, but far too bendy/soft for many tasks. Pros: Inexpensive; Metal did not rust after being left outside for a month; thin; decent plastic grip to protect hands. Cons: Far too bendy/springy/soft. Not as good as single-edge razor blade in most cases. Details: Purchased with low expectations, because so much rust-prone metal is typical in inexpensive tools. However, since we got 10, I left one outside for a month or more (in rain), resulting in absolutely no rust. The thick plastic around the middle provides adequate hand protection as well as stiffness. The metal is thin enough to be effective, where a thin blade screwdriver will not work. Unfortunately, these are so soft that they bend too easily, making them less useful than a single-edge razor blade; however, a razor tends to cut and scratch more. It's a trade-off, but even just a bit more stiffness would make these a five star choice. On the plus side, you get 10 for not very much money. But hard-core users will want to pay more for a better product.

Great tool, protect your hands though
This tool’s thinness makes it great for cracking seams and getting into gaps to open small electronics (especially iPods!), but not suited as a proper prybar for the same reason. You should wrap the handle in electrical tape or wear gloves, as the edges aren’t protected and have a burr.

very good value compared to more well known brands
other brands charge 2.50 dollars per tool. but with these i can either get 10 for 8 dollars or 20 for 10... yeah ill take the 20 pack and have backups for when im working on my ipod

Gread for what they are. Very lightweight and flexible, though. Great for inserting, but only work for very light prying
This is a very interesting product. I bought it because I often have to pry things open and it's a pain. In particular, I have a pretty big coin collection and some of them are in capsules that are friction fit. Without something to insert and pry, they are basically impossible to open. This tool is very helpful. So how do they perform? These are very flexible. Shockingly so. You could kind of wedge them around a corner if you wanted, actually. If I was to choose, I would probably prefer that they were actually a little *less* flexible. The handles are rubbery stuff that has been adhered to the thin metal underneath. I thought it would be something rigid. These work very well for inserting into tiny gaps and applying gentle pressure. If you want to put medium/hard pressure you will need something thicker and more rigid. For what they are, I think they are great.

Great for the family techie
Does your family come to you with every technical problem that can probably be fixed by turning it on and off again? Then this is perfect for you. I am now able to rip an innocent and likely perfectly working device open in record time just to give it's owner the ol-reliable "huh, I dunno".

A bit sharp on the edges
While for 10$ is really worth it the plastic around doesn’t do full justice, it doesn’t cover all the way around so I’ll still recommend to have some gloves for extra protection, it’s more like a “branding plastic” just to be on the side. I used this to work around the iPod. the material is likely to bend if you put on a lot of pressure on it so consider it slightly sensitive.

Perfect for opening hard drive enclosures and mini pcs where there are plastic clips holding a device together. I've opened several devices without breaking the plastic clips. Great tool.
