Fast Delivery and long lasting
Bought one of these on 1/23/2013 for my 2005 Kawasaki Concours. About 5 years ago I left a switch on and drained the battery. I bump started the bike and rode it around and the battery was fine. On 10/24/2023 my bike would not turn over enough to start. I bump started the bike and rode it very far but the battery would not charge enough to start the bike. Shows 12.10 volts but not enough strength to start my 1000cc motorcycle. Since it lasted over 10 years it seemed like it was an amazing battery. I ride all through the winter but the bike has sat for a couple of weeks. Still starts right up. I ordered in the evening of 10/24/2023 and it arrived 10/26/2023, free shipping without Prime. I'm very happy with this battery and the company selling it.

Best Battery In The World !!!!
I have an Odyssey battery in my Side x Side now for a few years. Battery is Awesome. So I went to go start my Harley Fat Boy Lo and battery was dead. So first thing came to mine was to go to town and get a new battery. But then I started thinking about hey I wonder if Odyssey makes a battery for it. I went and found out they did its the pc545 and then after I ordered it I found out that pc545mj also works. MJ Is metal jacket. Anyways its awesome I installed it in harley it does sit lower then stock battery its not as tall so it even gives you more room. One thing you will notice in my picture it made my ground cable not long enough to reach. So as you see there are 2 ground screws to use on the frame so I switched it to the closer one as you can see in the pictures. All I can say is that I love these batteries and they last forever and are reliable. When I need a battery in my truck. Guess what I am going to get !!!! Worth the extra money over a normal battery !!

Don't buy for a Harley
While I have had good service from Odyssey batteries in the past. This is not the right choice for a Harley despite the claim that it is the correct battery. It required a shim to fit in the battery box and I had to make an adapter to hook up the positive lead. When it's cold out it will not start the motorcycle and sometimes it doesn't even when it's warm. The battery generally requires a jump to get started. I have it checked and all the cells are good.

Longevity of Odyssey batteries is hard to beat
Design of the battery has changed slightly from what is pictured. All black case now except for the top portion. Shipping was quick so I suspect a local distributor was close to my location. I’ve used Odyssey batteries in my Harley before with excellent results. Generally after 4 years I replace it regardless of condition just due to heat and vibration from a Harley and you don’t want it crapping out on a trip. Although this battery is not going in a Harley, got the Odyssey due to longevity. Prior battery spent 4 years in a HD and then another 7+ years as an electric gate opener battery. Battery was more than 12 years old and still was holding a charge OK, but under use would quickly drop below 12v for 30 seconds or so while electric gate cycled so knew it was time to replace it. Hope for many years out of this battery assuming internals have not changed or manufacturing has not changed to save on cost? I also have use a 2 stage charger as recommended which could help with prior longevity.

Odyssey PC545 - Motorcycle battery
I ordered this Odyssey PC545 battery as a replacement for my VTX 1800. It arrived in time, well packed, too. According to the manual it was pre-charge. So I took the old battery out and compared them. It was supposed to be a direct replacement. Unfortunately this Odyssey is about 3/4" smaller in hight. In my case it didn't make a difference - be aware if you use this battery and expect it to be the same size. Other then that it was a simple swap. It does have more CCA then the original battery. The mounting points for the cables are well constructed, even thought the supplied bolts are somewhat short. If you have more then just one connector per side you might need to look for longer bolts. Again, simple swap, hooked it up and it worked. I am very happy with the battery. Well, since it starts the bike, gives enough juice to power all the additional equipment - I didn't notice much difference. Time will tell if it holds a charge longer then the old battery (and that'll be easy) Cliff notes: easy replacement, slightly smaller, well constructed connectors, short bolts Thx FrankEGD

What can I say, great battery
I purchased this battery for my airplane in 2012 and it still turns over strong even on the coldest days. I was a little worried about it being to small as far as amperage goes (I think its the bare minimum of cranking amps for my engine which is a 360 cubic inch 4 cylinder Lycoming (its a common aircraft engine) but it's such a good battery it has no trouble. I went with smallest one I could to save on weight although its so light compared to a normal battery with comparable cranking amps I could have easily went with a size or two bigger even so no regrets. The size of this particular battery is comparable to a motorcycle battery and yet it turns over a 360 with no sweat. Im not saying buy this for your 8 cylinder truck but it packs plenty of punch for its size.

Don't buy this product.
Do not buy an Odyssey battery. I have owned their batteries for many years but this one was purchased on April 15th, 2025 and on December 18th it was dead. Odyssey has a 4 year warranty on this battery but to date I have not received a reply from them on this defective product. If they would honor their warranty I'd reconsider their product as I've always had good luck with the batteries.
