When i bought this vibrating massager, I too thought it was for muscles and bones as I'm in severe pain, and of course it can be used for that.... I only bought it a few days ago and now it's cheaper to buy, but even when i bought it, its was well worth the money.... It does look like a sex toy and can be used for a sex toy and why not? I've tried it for both uses and wow! it's brilliant, of course you wash the massager between both uses.... I love it, and have you seen the price of sex toys.... okay, this can't penetrate you fully, but wow! it can sure give you orgasms....perfect for that...I see some people say it's slow rotating and not fast, but you know what, it isn't slow it's fast....you have your on and off switch, then mode in the middle, but the top button just keep pressing it and the more you press this button it picks up speed....I can't fault this vibrating massager, It's also fast charging.... so don't right this off it's real good, in fact it's perfect, cheap and for both uses it's great.....

The Roysmart Personal Massager was supplied in a branded purple and black box with a depiction of faces on the outside, the box measuring 230 x 112x 65mm. The 8 speeds, Power Display, Magnetic charging and waterproof rating (of 100%) were indicated on the rear of the box. Inside the box was the massager in a plastic tray, USB-A to magnetic contacts charging cable and a small booklet along with a pouch. Examining the massager, the first thing I noticed was that the silicone buttons were coloured the same as the silicone background, making them almost invisible to the eye – not easy to discern and certainly not in low light or dark. Once switched on the three buttons are lit with a red light, along with the current charge level in the battery – that makes using it easy, but it should have coloured buttons for initial use. The build quality I would say is OK, silicone-based rubber with a white glossy plastic around the silicone holding the buttons. At the base of the massager is a pair of contacts for the charger to be connected to magnetically, helping with waterproofing. The massaging head is angled and thus offset at the top of the massager, the head being around 60mm long and 40mm in diameter at the widest point. The shape is quite nice and offers an alternative to the straight wand style of massager. Using the device is as easy as any massaging wand, power on, select frequency and then speed and begin the massage programme, using the flexibility of the massager neck as well as movement of the device. I will say that the 8 speeds are fairly close in terms of stepping up or down and could have used a bit more grunt. The all-important consideration is of course, is it effective? I would say it helps if the massage is surface level rather than deep tissue, it may vibrate quite fast and have variation of frequency, but unlike some others it does not seem to go very deep into for instance the shoulder or thigh area where tissue can be thicker. It can certainly help if used if used in the bedroom but perhaps start on a slow speed and work your way up. There is no memory of settings when switched off and back on - which would be a good improvement. You may find some temporary numbness if you use it for prolonged periods, and some people do find such devices a little odd feeling in their hands. In terms of noise level, it is fairly quite in my experience, it is waterproof and quiet in the bath and should be cleaned properly before stowing away. Battery life is around 3-4 hours and charging time from near exhausted was 1.5 hours for me. It can be cleaned with water, being a waterproof design. Good value at the current offer price of £12.99 but not the most powerful of massagers – a surface level device that is a little let down by lack of markings and some same-feeling speed settings.

I had been using one of the more standard 'pistol' type hand massager for a while, but being a fairly small unit I was looking out for an alternative that might provide a bit more power and massage effect. This unit came along so I decided to give it a go. Straight out of the box it looks totally different to a lot of the models on the market, including the one I wanted this to replace. Instead of being a pistol type unit this looks more like a large hairbrush with the massage head where the bristles would normally be. However, I soon found that this different shape/design does have its advantages over the more popular shape. For a start if you are using this on yourself and the area you want to reach is a bit awkward - say for example between your shoulder blades or similar, this unit makes it far easier to hold and get the massage head where you need it. This in itself is a good recommendation as it improves the soothing effect and due to the ease of holding it reduces any stress in your muscles trying to get the head where you need it. On the downside there is one immediately obvious thing, the fact that the massage head is not changeable, you get the standard ball type head, but this is not a bad thing as I've found that I tend to use the ball type fitting primarily on other massage units anyway. Control is a doddle, you have a main on/off button and two further buttons above this, one sets massage 'pattern' (there are 20 options), the one sets the intensity level (8 levels available). This means you have a fair level of control. The unit is a chargeable device and is provided with a special USB charging lead, on one end you have the normal USB plug which will work with any USB power socket type source. The other end that connects to the massage unit is a special two pin magnetic connector, this is great as it means there is no plug/socket to get damaged, but at the same time means whatever you do don't lose the lead or you won't be able to charge it! Charging time is a very reasonable 1.5 hours and gives a reasonable run time, the remaining battery power is indicated on the unit by a bank of LED's that show you the amount of power left. The unusual charging lead becomes understandable when you find out the massage unit is designed to be water resistant, which it appears to be, although I'm not sure I would want to put it in a bowl of water or something just in case. So there you go, a nice alternative to the 'gun' type massage units if you find them awkward to use like I do at times, this one is also much easier to slip into your bag if you are away on travels somewhere, just remember to take the charging lead! Recommended, especially at the very reasonable price point.

We purchased this as a massager for a hip muscle problem my wife is experiencing, it actually turns out to be a sex toy disguised as a massager!

Habe es eigentlich für meine Schulter Massage bestellt.Dafür ist es aber zu schwach. Gut für Oberflächenmassage Accu hält lange.Eher etwas für das weibliche Geschlecht.

The problem with a lot of these smaller massaging devices is that they don't last long and they quit. I just received this. I'm trying this brand to see what longevity and benefits it offers. I'll have to come back to report on its integrity. The construction is simple, lightweight and has a comfortable handle. It has quite a few speed/pattern options for your needs. Comes with a simple opaque coverlet bag that you can store it in when not in use. Many complain about the magnet charging cord, but just set it on a flat surface with the cord relaxed, not twisted. The connection is quite fine.
