Excellent pen – bought three of them
This is an excellent pen. It writes smoothly and consistently, and the compact bullet design makes it easy to carry in a pocket, bag, or small kit. The build quality feels solid and durable. I liked it so much that I ended up buying three of them so I could keep one in different places. If you want a reliable everyday carry pen, this one is hard to beat.

Big things can come in little packages; a deceivingly great pen!
This thing is -small- but still fits perfectly in my hand! When closed, this thing is super small and you'd think that when you open it, it would just feel too small to write with. But when you put the cap on the back, it locks on great and fits perfectly in your hand and writes with 0 issues. I added this to my EDC of the Sling Plus Nutsac bag (I know, awful name) and it fits perfectly onto the inner molle straps and doesn't take up more than 1 small row. I have added a Zebra FZ01 pen next to it (a great heft clicker pen; love the click on it) and got some Field Notes to write notes and such while out and about. Always growing but I can see why these pens might last forever with the owner itself if cared for correctly. Seals great when the cap is put back on and the clipped version is the one you want moreso than none clip. A great addition to anyone's stuff!

Why Do You Want It?
Thursday July 18 2024 10:30am Jesus' Peace to all😊🙏🏽 The purpose of asking the question, "why do you want to purchase this product?" is because it will determine whether you should purchase it or not. If you are like me and you enjoy laying in bed on your back and writing in your journal or you're an avid writer. You probably came across the problem of gravity pulling the ink from your pen rearward and causing the ink flow to stop. The frustration of not being able to write in that position caused me to search the internet for a pen that writes upside down. I didn't even know if they existed and sure enough I discovered the Space Pen. Initially I bought the silver and black space pen, that's a regular pen size and just recently I discovered the small all black $30.00🤷🤦 space pen, the convenient size. Yeah a bit pricey. I still can't believe I spent that much for a pen😄 My primary reason for purchasing these pens was for the ability to write while laying on my back and with the pen upside down without losing the consistent flow of ink to my paper. Previous to having these space pens, the ink in regular pens would pause as I wrote and I had to flick it a few times to get it going again. This would happen every few minutes. Very frustrating, so I was more than happy to spend extra to have these gravity resistance pens. Unfortunately, here is the unfavorable reality. These space pens do not provide a bold, smooth flowing writing experience. I love pens that are ballpoint, mid and provide a bold writing experience. Hence, I prayed to God/Jesus, and asked Him if He could lead me to a pen that's less expensive, has the capability of writing upside down, with a midpoint and a bold writing experience. I then got on Amazon and in the search box; I can't remember exactly how I inputted the search inquiry but low and behold I saw a whole bunch of different pens pop up. I read some of the information on three particular pens and I decided to order all three in hopes that one of them would have the qualities that I was looking for. When these three different pens arrived. I was pleasantly surprised and thanked Father God that my prayer was answered. I was very satisfied. All of them wrote boldly, smoothly and did not lose ink flow while I laid on my back and did my writing. They were not space pens but yet they had the quality of a space pen which I was very excited about. As I mentioned earlier if you are like me and you are just looking for pen that has the capability of writing upside down with a smooth, bold ink flow, that is uninterrupted and consistent, then these are the three pens I discovered that will do just that: 1) Pentel Energel RT. Bold 1.0 Cost is $7.20 for 2pens in a Pkg. It has a 4.7 star rating and 3,656 reviews. 2) Pilot G2 Premium Gel Roller Pens Bold 1.0 (Normally $11.35 for a 5pens to a Pkg.. currently on sale for $5.89... that's a 48% discount) Today is Thur July 18 2024 it also has a 4.8 star rating with 10,267 reviews 3) OHTO FUDE Ball point 1.5 Extra Bold. It's in the category of Amazon's choice and it cost $5.70 for 3 pens to a Pkg. It has a 4.6 star rating with 967 reviews. I love all three pens in that particular order. Despite having OHTO FUDE last on the list, it's definitely not the least. It's actually the smoothest and boldest of all the other two but the reason it's last is because it tends to ever so slightly dispense more ink than is needed and causes very slight blotches. I mean the Bold is really bold. I still love it though and I will still buy it again because I love how it provides such a smooth flowing writing experience. My number one pick however is the Pentel energel RTX. It is also bold but it's a milder bold compared to the OHTO. It doesn't write as smooth as the OHTO but the the writing experience and smoothness is more controlled with the Pentel and the ink flow is well controlled...no blotches, smears, smudges or globs. The second pen is actually pretty good as well, the pilot G2 but it has more of a fine writing experience so if you like that type of feel, then that would be a perfect pen for you. It is a good pen and if the other two are not available I would definitely purchase it again Needless to say, but I'll say it anyway 😄 I'm a very happy writer. My father God has led me to 3 great pens. Well I hope you guys enjoyed my review as much as I enjoyed writing it. May God bless each and every reader and your families, friends and enemies( the blessing for your enemies will be that they turn from their wicked wayand lead in love, respect and peace.😊🙏🏽)

Great EDC pen, versatile and portable
UPDATE 06/21: I've carried this pen everyday since March 16 (now June 21) and the clip has never moved, in the slightest. Five Star rating still stands. Perfect EDC (Every Day Carry) pen. At work I carry it in my trouser pocket, at play I carry it in my fifth pocket. It's barely noticeable while carrying and changes to a full size pen when the cap is placed. The pen is thin, like a traditional BIC pen, and the clip keeps it from rolling off desks. The infamous clip: I've carried the pen everyday since March 16th (now April 8th) and the clip has never moved, doesn't feel like it's going to move nor does it feel like it's going to snap/break. Maybe Fisher slides them on tighter than before during manufacturing, maybe I got lucky, maybe some others got unlucky, who knows. Remember, I use the clip daily. FYI, there are replacement clips available. The cap: There's some reviews that claim the cap is loose. I've tried violently shaking the pen holding just the cap (thinking forcing ketchup out of a bottle) in it's closed and open position and it didn't move. Either people don't know how to put the pen cap on properly or their rubber o-ring is damaged, compromising the seal it creates when the pen is closed. Here's a tip: when you take off or put on the cap, do it while twisting the cap. It's that much easier to take off the cap and it creates a better seal when closing it. The ballpoint: The pen writes better than most ballpoint pens but don't try to compare it to a Mont Blanc or something of that nature. I'll order one soon but many have said the fine point ink cartridge writes several steps above the medium ink cartridge, which ships with the pen. Writeability(?)/clogging: Some reviews mention clogging and skipping. I use the pen every day, several times a day and I've never come across this. When I use my pen for the first time in the morning, it gets right to writing without any delay. I think others have a faulty cartridge; I know someone who's contacted Fisher about this and was sent a replacement cartridge, free of charge. And yes, it works great upside down, on greasy paper (WD-40) and on wet paper (spilled water bottle). It even wrote on a white subway tile (kitchen back-splash). Portability: This pen defines portability. I saw a complaint about the pen not having a key ring; reviewer should have looked at the Fisher trekker Space Pen. TIP: Fisher warranties this pen much like Zippo warranties their lighters; if there is anything mechanically wrong with the pen, send it in and they will repair or replace it. The Fisher website has more details. I've included two pictures for size comparison.

Solid pen. It survived a car running over it!
This pen's amazing. It is easy to hold, and writes very well. One time I dropped it in my church parking lot, and found it a week later. It got ran over by a car. Still works and looks amazing, only with a small little dent. I love how compact it is. One of the best pens I could ever own. I now own 2 space pens, one in black, one in blue.

Great pen clip is not the best
I carried this pen for years but lost it a while back. If the clip gets bent there is no really way to bend it back but other than that it writes super well and you don’t notice it in the pocket.

Lovely to hold and use but the ink comes out really lightly. Not impressed given the reputation of Fisher ink cartridges
