It’s a good multi task egg cooker. I use it all the time. It takes up very little counter space and you don’t have to fill it with eggs if you just want one. It saves the pan and the water and the boiling and the timing and it shuts itself off when it’s done. Simple but helpful.

This is the best kept secret EVER! Works great, cooks great, easy to use and clean....I can't say enough good things! Scrambled eggs take about 30 seconds, literally from start to finish! Hard boiled eggs come out perfect every time! Poached eggs are a little more done than I'd like but I've only made them twice so will try alternatives to get them soft in the middle, like I like.

This product works good but with one caveat : the settings on the water container are not really accurate in my opinion. I use this product for soft poached eggs but the eggs come out egg bites even on poached egg setting. For soft poached eggs, fill water container about 1/8 inch from the top of the 2 poached egg setting and they come out perfect for me. All in all it’s a wonderful product!

Wasted money on a cheap model. This cooks 4 poached eggs at a time. An on/off switch and easy clean trays. Spend a little more and get this first.

When I first got this egg cooker for poaching eggs, it worked GREAT! However, after a while, the heating unit started operating hotter and instead of steaming the water in the tank, it boiled the water, leaving the eggs a watery mess. I compleined to Hamilton Beach and they sent me another unit (after I paid shipping). The second unit worked fine for a while then started doing the same thing the first unit did leaving me a watery mess. If HB could fix this problem, I would give them 5 stars as the initial poached eggs came out great.

It’s a good machine but I don’t like that there is no alarm. So I don’t know when it’s ready unless I keep going to check to see if the light is off.

Cooks poached eggs excellent. Only thing I use it for. No complaints.
