I love this product. Amaranth is perfectly popped and it has a great taste. I really like that it comes packaged in a zipper bag for convenient storage. Since being a child I've always loved amaranth, recently tried to pop it at home with no luck, I am glad now I can buy it already popped. I use it with everything, my yogurt, fruits and salads.

In an effort to eat better I did a lot of research and learned ancient grains-such as puffed amaranth-are an excellent source of proteins. I make my own muesli cereal with oats, amaranth, almonds, dried apricots, and some other ancient grains. I add kefir to the mix for the probiotics and have a very healthy start to each day!

This is my first time ever tasting amaranth and I purchased these in my quest to eat foods that are considered healthy and beneficial. I decided to order the popped Amaranth simply because for me I thought it would be the easiest way to incorporate them into my diet. I ate some right from the package as is (does not exactly taste or look like popcorn). The taste sort of reminds me of plain crumbled rice cakes. I do not mind the taste at all and like to add this to my smoothies or top my oatmeal with it.

Received just as described. Seems good quality and would probably buy again, I just haven't run out yet.

It’s so old taste is so bad It’s not worth it

We lived in Mexico for nine years and often eat puffed amaranth. I was delighted to find it for sale on amazon. However, when the package arrived, the grains had a rancid smell. They didn’t taste right.

Awesome product. My son loves it at breakfast with almond milk. I love it's a complete protein.
