It was a total impulse buy, but I’m so glad I went for it! Arrived the next day, well packed to stay cold.. I thawed one for dinner and cooked it in a hot skillet with olive oil, using my seasoning. 5 min on one side, 3 on the other and got a perfect crust. Let it rest for a minute, then we split it after a quick discussion on who got which half. It was just perfect. Tender, buttery and full of flavor, just like a high quality NY Strip. We had it with roasted vegetables and a big pot of herbed, buttered mashed potatoes. Honestly, I shouldn’t have second-guessed this purchase. Everything about it was excellent, and I’ll definitely be ordering more!

Low quality meat. Several of the steaks were not vacuum sealed. Inappropriately packaged for shipment. During dispute resolution with the seller they forged documents. I do not recommend anyone buy from this seller

I received the New York strips package of eight. I was disappointed in the quality of the meat. There was almost no marbling, and consequently almost no flavor. The steaks did not look at all like the pictures on the Amazon webpage. Those steaks are shown as having considerable marbling . These steaks are not prime beef. They are prime Angus beef, which basically means they are ungraded. Will not be ordering from Grumpy again. Even though this item was not returnable, customer service gave me a complete refund.

Didn’t like Grizzle around edges. Otherwise was tender & tasty.

The meat has a clean beef flavor & doesnt taste overly fatty. It came out steakhouse level👌🔥

Good steaks just overpriced. I can get the exact same four steaks at my local store for about $60.00.
