DAWNTREES Felt Desk Mat, Computer Mat for Desk, Dark Gray (36x12Inches)

I've been dealing with the annoyance of my mouse pad moving around and a desk pad seemed like the best solution to the problem. It turned out to be such an elegant solution. The size is perfect, just fitting the space between the edge of my desk and the feet of my monitor, with plenty of room for the keyboard, mouse and peripherals. In a dark gray, it looks nice while not standing out. It feels nice too, soft and just the right thickness. As for funtionality, it lays flat and the backing holds the desk pad firmly in place. And it keeps my keyboard stationary while my mouse glides over the surface. The price is right for a great product that I would absolutely buy again.

this is perfect. No odd odor. perfect coverage. I'm still able to write on paper when placed on this mat. Can use mouse without the added one they sent as a freebie. Looks so nice. A perfect charcoal grey shade. the backing does not allow it to slip. Wipes off very easy and quick shake out gets any other small dry particles off. The size allows for ample coverage. Just took out of the box unrolled and was able to immediately use. no need to unfold. Super easy. Now if only they could do a deep burgandy and navy blue.

I’ve been using this desk mat every weekday for about 7 months, and it still looks brand new. The felt has a nice soft feel, but it is not flimsy or overly delicate. It has held up great with no peeling, no edge issues, and no noticeable wear. It also works great with my mouse and stays in place on the desk because it has the grip underneath. One thing I really like is how clean it makes the whole desk setup look. It gives the desk an organized and professional look while also protecting the surface. When I first rolled it out, the edges were slightly curved, but after a day they laid flat perfectly. It is also super easy to clean! I’ve gotten crumbs on it and just brushing it off with my hand is enough. If you want a large desk mat that looks great, feels good, and holds up well over time, this is definitely worth it.

I purchased this desk mat to hide my siamese cat's fur a bit better than my neoprene black mat was doing. The gray pictured was what I was hoping for, but unfortunately for me, what arrived is a bit darker - more black - and shows the cat's hair. (Back to using the lint roller several times a day.) The mat itself is well made, and a nice length and width for my 44" long by 28" wide desk. The texture is as expected, and I'm not sure I prefer it over neoprene, but it's not as squishy either, which I do like. The edge is cut with no wrapped or sewn edge. Time will tell if that is durable or if it is subject to fraying. I also wonder if the felt top will snag or pill with the rubbing of my mouse over it, but all of these concerns are simply worries, with no evidence that they'll occur upon a few days of use. The mat is attractive, but as stated before, darker than expected. I do like the almost tweed-like appearance, and it will protect my desk, is "mouse-friendly, and has no odor. It unrolled easily, and was completely flat after one day of use. The back has a texture that is not noticable from the front when you run your hand over the mat. It provides non-slip backing for the mat and presumably some protection against liquids soaking through if you accidently spilled your coffee on it. I create YouTube videos with an overhead camera, showing my desktop. I think this will provide an attractive backdrop, and I would buy this again if needed and recommend it to others.

I have been buying from Amazon since 2012. Probably spending 5-10k dollars a year on things I need and I rarely leave reviews. This mat kind of blew my mind. At my job the desk I sit at the varnish is peeling. I’ve been using a desk calendar for a year, but desk calendar's kind of get gross over time. From your arms being on it. This item arrived a few days ago and I just put it on my desk today. It came rolled, but when I rolled it out, it immediately stayed flat and had no bends on it. My coworkers were blown away and wanted to know where I got it. For the price I thought it would cost more for this quality. I’m really impressed. It feels great on my arms and my mouse moves. Great on it and it’s easy to write on. I even tested it and tried to clean something on it and it came right up. Excellent value for money perfect size for my desk feels great to work on which has a little concerned because I saw other people wrote. They didn’t like the feeling, but it feels great to me and everybody else who touched it likes it. It covers my desk from where I had the issues and it doesn’t slide around, but it’s easy to clean. I love the color too blends with everything and hides dirt. I love that it wasn’t bent and it’s packaged well. And also came with a button strap to roll it up, which I’m not using to organize my wires.

5 stars because it looks fantastic and was exactly what I expected... HOWEVER, if you are a heavy gamer, or work remote, the felt will eventually start to "ball up" in certain areas, specifically the mouse area. Because I use my mouse 8 hours a day some of the felt balls up and makes my mouse loose track of its movement. I can rip off the little felt balls, but still, not an ideal purchase for a heavy PC user. This mat will likely work better for a laptop user.

Got this mat in sale during prime sale. I was shocked in how good this mat looks and feels. This replace an work out logitech smaller desk mat. let see how his mat holds up in time. Great purchase. highly recommend.

The non-slip on the bottom is a life saver for our use case otherwise it'd be moving around unbearably on our butcher block desk. The quality is nice and it seems like it'll hold up for a long time without fraying! Compared to others on the market, especially "name brand" wool desk pads, you can't beat this value and the size is perfect for our needs and color of the light gray is accurate to the pictures! The only downside is we cannot for the life of us get one end, the inside end when it was rolled up, to flatten out. We've tried creasing it the other way, putting heavy books on it for a day just about everything, but it still has a slight bump in it after 2 months. I'm sure eventually it'll go away as we keep messing with it but another wool desk pad we've had just had the curl gone by the same amount of time, it was also a bit more expensive though.
