ValueColor Reset Chip for CIT-R406 Imaging Unit, IT WORKS!
I have a Xpress C410 without the chip installed in the front of the imaging unit. Supposedly the chip is hidden somewhere. Any way, I stuck this chip unit in the blank place and it worked. Printer ran for a bit, spit out the pending job when it shut down at 16000 pages. Printed the unit report and it is reset to "0". Def worth a shot for 10 bucks!

Last time my Samsung drum needed replacing I simply threw it out. Could not spend $100 on a $150 printer. Bought another one. Then 2 years later same issue. Replace drum. Yet printer Therese works great. This little device reset the printer to think it had a new drum and all is great. Print quality is still very good. When print quality gets mediocre I will maybe try a no name replacement drum.

DID NOT WORK
Did not work on my Samsung C460 printer. Tried power cycling, removing everything then reinserting, no luck.

working great on my samsung c460 printer, it was unoperatable because the Image Unit reach the end of life, and I did some reasch, found out this reset chip and give a shot, you know what, it did reset the IU count to 0 and printer back to life again. If your's has the same issue, try this, worth it.
