Bodygroom Series 5000, BG5025/40

Massive upgrade from the Wahl clippers I was using that was supposed to work for both body and facial hair. Anytime I used these Wahl clippers on my sensitive bits, I would cut myself. This Philips Norelco Body Groomer set works extremely well and as advertised. No cuts, nicks, or scapes when I shaved downstairs. I was also very impressed by the guard that these came installed with. I was able to shave my man bits 10x faster than before, and was able to press down pretty hard without fear of breaking skin. Best trimmer I have gotten for downstairs use, and I highly recommend

Very good product. The Philips Norelco Series 5000 body groomer is powerful, easy to use, trims and shaves effectively with dual heads, and is comfortable on the skin.

Pros: - Relatively small - Side blades (but not the foil portion) are excellent and safe for all private parts - Head is fixed, no rotation or swivel, but this is a good thing as the swivel on the 7000 series makes it harder to use in armpits, back or pretty much anywhere - Quick and safe for armpits, waistline, and just below (but not too much farther, see cons) - Charge port is located where you would expect, unlike the 7000 series - Back extension actually works for the most part - Waterproof Neutral - Don't expect skin close shave, but in my personal experience it's not good to get skin close shave in armpits or waistline. Any closer and you risk the hair follicle infections common with a close shave in sensitive areas. But you can get one step away from skin close with the foil portion or two to three steps away with just the side blades. Cons - Center foil will snag and rip hairs from the scrotum, best to use a manual razor for this area. I have yet to find an electric that works in the area. Note that the head on this razor is the exact same as the one side of the 7000 series. - No head guard/protector or case - No charge level or required indicator that I can tell (but even the 7000 series is pathetic in that it only indicated when it needed a charge and did not provide an actual charge level). The LED is on when charging and turns off when fully charged. - Power cable is cheap plastic. Doesn't hold shape well and will just go wherever it wants instead of neatly where you wish it would. Unknown - Battery life. I've never had to use this razor for more than a minute or so as it's quick enough to complete what I need. I can't speak to other comments that it doesn't last long enough as I've never had an issue. But I have used for several days before I randomly decide to charge just to be sure it was ready for the next time. Summary I highly recommend this razor OVER the 7000 series, which I returned. For reference, the traditional razor side of the 7000 series was worthless, best to use a dedicated razor for beards or scalp. This razor is excellent for the armpits and waistline area. Literally only 10 to 15 seconds in each area and I'm good to go for my level of satisfaction. But understand not for the scrotum area. But I've never found another electric product that works that far down below.

I have to admit I was very skeptical about using it down there as I usually tend to nick myself using a regular shaver and decided to give this one a go. I have to say, I wish I old shaver died a lot sooner and I had found this one. Whoever designed this at Philips deserves a big raise and huge annual bonus. It works really well for down there, very close and clean. No nicks, cuts or pulls. Buy this just for that area alone like I did.

Great for shaving mens' pubic areas as well as nipples. I'm not that hairy to begin with but now I'm super smooth.

It’s the best one that I have found for my bro parts! Yes it is a razor, yes it can cause some irritation on the boys. But overall it’s the smoothest and easiest trimmer for downstairs. I used it on my chest and abdomen and with a couple of passes in each direction the body and balls razor worked extremely well. Granted that area was previously trimmed a few days ago but it definitely got all the hair the other razor missed or wouldn’t cut. The size is decent. I feel that the design is well balanced and holding it in various positions is easy. The blades are sharp and smooth. Again it is a razor so it can cut you. I did end up nicking my balls but the size of the cut paled in comparison to other razors.

I bought this specifically for shaving my head, and it does a fantastic job. It gets nearly as close as a manual razor without the irritation. I’m really happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it to others.

TLDR: Blades are dull Build quality is bottom of the barrel Left me covered in burns and bumps and a sad trim DO NOT BUY if you have any significant amount of hair First of all a lot of the initial 5 star pictures you see are not of the same trimmer that you’re ordering here. I tried a manscaped trimmer and was like damn this whole manscaping business isn’t all that bad. I can get a close trim without any pain or suffering and it’s relatively easy to do. BUT I hated the idea of hopping on the marketing bandwagon of manscaped. I’m not that kind of guy. So I order this Phillips Norelco thinking it’ll be just as good, potentially better, without all the hype. I was absolutely wrong. The blades may as well be microscopic butter knives. The amount of effort to get through my relatively thin body hair was atrocious. I was left covered in bumps and irritation. I disinfected the razor and made sure to immediately cleanse myself and apply some moisturizer and that did nothing to save me. Now it’ll take a couple weeks for my skin to recover. The build quality is low. Lightweight plastic body. Low quality metal parts. I wouldn’t trust it to survive a drop in my tub. It’s a miracle it’s considered waterproof. I don’t hate Phillips norelco. I’ve had their products before. But my god is this thing terrible. Doesn’t live up to the name. I hate to say it but I’m buying a manscaped trimmer. They feel infinitely smoother.

El producto llego en excelentes condiciones de importación. La compre por el precio muy rebajado, este modelo viene muy completo, con 3 peinetas de 3, 5 y 7 mm, un extensor para zonas como la espalda. La calidad es muy buena, el repuesto lo venden en Amazon, un poco caro a mi parecer, pero al no usar muy seguido esta rasuradora corporal, supongo que me durará mas de la cuenta con el que viene de fábrica, aún así lo compraré. En cuanto a su calidad de funcionamiento, la tecnología que maneja en verdad no lastima la piel o da jalones. En la zona de los "kiwis" es muy seguro usarla sin peineta y deja muy bien esa zona, sin irritar para nada. Yo creo que es de las mejores rasuradoras corporales del mercado sin duda. Espero dure bastante para ver otros modelos que Philips lance al mercado en el futuro.

Tried a few before buying this one. Cheaper ones tended to cause a rash on my skin. This one was perfect, more expensive but you get what you pay for

Fast 1 Monat Lieferzeit. Paket war neu überklebt und siegel am Produktkarton gebrochen, also eindeutig geöffnet gewesen. Nicht sehr vertrauens erweckend, eventuell schon gebraucht. Er macht im Endeffekt das was er soll, man muss aber oft über die Stelle rüber gehen.
