It took looking at 11 other sulphur soaps to realize nearly all of them are made with a base of palm oil. That is not a good thing if you are allergic to palm oil. This one claims to be palm oil free and on the box it states that fact! So I was happy I finally found this! I have rarely used a sulphur soap that did not dry out my skin, but this is more moisturizing with coconut milk to nourish your skin. This does not have a sulphur scent, but more of a barely discernable clean lemony scent which is pleasant! The results of using this for several days is that my skin has finally cleared up! I sometimes eat things with palm oil in them by accident and that causes acne and blemishes. I've also found this good for my rosacea which is now under much better control. This soap deep cleans and clears! I highly recommend it for acne prone or blemished skin. It lathers well and rinses totally clean. I mean squeaky clean! It also works behind the ears where skin can get oily. I notice much less oil on my face when using this soap daily! I am not a doctor, nor is this review medical advice! The Erbaid 10% Sulfur Soap Cleansing Bar smells pleasant. THANK YOU! It doesn't have that strong sulfur smell that many skin soaps have. A sulfur smell makes me a little bit sick to my stomach, but I tolerating a smelly bar, just to have the benefits of sulfur treatment on my skin. The Erbaid bar doesn't have a stench at all. It smells pleasant. It is only four ounces, so it doesn't last a long time. But, I'd rather order more soap than have to deal with a fetid smell. Oh, and this soap has done wonders for my skin. Recommended.

Sulphur soap was reccomended to me by a doctor when my kids were small. It kills most of the microorganisms and tiny mites and bugs that get on your skin. It immediately cleared up a reaction my son was having to something he touched while playing in the back yard. Regular use of sulphur soap deterred skin rashes. Then when my kids were teens, sulphur soap dried up and deterred pimples. They are all grown now, but I still use it when I do gardening. I reccomend sulphur soap. So far it hasn't mattered what brand. I buy whichever one has the best deal at the moment.

I don't believe it's 10% sulfur. There is no sulfur scent at all and doesn't work on skin conditions like other bars I have bought that were rate 10% sulfur.

I had higher hopes because of the positive reviews. My daughter has severe acne and has used the soap every day for 10 days. Her skin seems improved, but she is still breaking out. She blames the summer heat, sweat, sunblock and bug spray, so that’s fair. She likes the soap and says it’s not too stinky, it doesn’t make her skin burn or feel tight. She says it makes it feel incredibly soft. She’d like to keep using it for awhile before trying something different.
