Perfect for Quick & Easy Egg Cooking!
I absolutely love the Chefman Egg-Maker! This appliance makes cooking eggs a breeze. Whether you're in the mood for soft, medium, or hard-boiled eggs, this machine delivers perfect results every time. The included poaching and omelet tray is a fantastic bonus, adding even more versatility to the unit. I especially appreciate how quickly it cooks—what used to be a time-consuming process is now done in just a few minutes. The design is sleek and compact, and it’s incredibly easy to use. Just fill the water reservoir, place the eggs inside, press the button, and let the machine do the work. The ready signal is a nice touch, so you know exactly when your eggs are done. Plus, it’s BPA-free, which is always a big plus for me. Cleanup is a breeze, and I love how the egg shells peel off easily once the eggs are done. If you're someone who enjoys eggs frequently, or just wants a hassle-free way to make breakfast, I highly recommend the Chefman Egg-Maker. It’s a game-changer!

I love this little thing!
This little egg cooker does a great job! I used to use my instant pot. And while it does a good job also, I found it was just so big and bulky to take out and a lot to clean just for a dozen or so eggs. I guess if I’m doing a ton, it’s quicker, but for just a smaller batch, this is great. Now I don’t follow the directions verbatim. First I don’t poke a hole in them. When I would, the egg white would puff out the top and the eggs would get all wonky. So I leave them as is and cook them. When they are done, before I take them out of the cooker, I use the ends of my tongs and just tap the top to break the shell and then submerge them into an ice bath. That allows the cold water to get between the egg and shell and releases it beautifully. I will add that I’m using fresh eggs, these were laid about 1 1/2 weeks ago, they sat on my cupboard and I didn’t wash till I used them and they didn’t break as I peeled. I did have one crack while cooking, but that egg was already a lot wider than some others and another had a small crack in the egg white but that’s because I went a little hulk on it and I broke it while peeling the shell off. Otherwise they really come out perfectly. The bottom does get a burnt look, but I just cover the bottom of it with splash of white vinegar, let it sit for about a minute, then take a piece of paper towel and wipe it clean and it comes out perfect. In the picture, the dirty bottom was after 3 uses. I didn’t clean it the last time I used it, it was put away before I could get to it, and then I cooked 2 batches of eggs this use. So even after sitting, it came clean. Also I don’t use the little handle thing, I keep it off because I can get one extra egg in it. If the eggs are the jumbo size, I can’t get a 7th egg though, it’s too tight and sometimes the lid won’t fit on. I’ve never used the other pieces, so I can’t say how those work, I only use this for hard boiled eggs and it’s my favorite way by far.

Superb!
Third time purchasing this... for a bunch of uses. This is super-easy to use - if you can't cook, you can use this. The instructions are very clear, and there are no complicated buttons or settings. Our ten-year-old cooks eggs with this. No need to fill a pot with water, boil the eggs, pour it out... this is compact, great for a work kitchen or dorm or any kitchen that prefers small appliances! And a big pro - it's very safe. You're not dealing with a pot of boiling water - by using this, the little water you use cooks out. Plus, it's eco-friendly. No need to pour out a pot of boiling water that you would have had to use otherwise!

Great Little Egg Cooker!
I'm an old bachelor, and while I love hard boiled eggs, I rarely ever went to the trouble of getting out a pot and cooking them. That, plus I always had a terrible time peeling eggs that were cooked in water. A friend told me about these little egg cookers, so I looked them over and decided on the Chefman. I really like this device. It's very easy to use, does a great job on eggs, and cleanup is a snap. It comes with a little measuring cup which has lines on it for soft, medium and hard boiled as well as for poached eggs and omelets. You just fill the little measuring cup with water (I use distilled water) to the appropriate line for your cooking preference. You pour the water into the cooking plate, place the cooking rack on top of the base, put eggs on the rack (up to six), and place the lid on the unit. You then plug in the unit, press the power button and cooking begins. Hard boiled eggs take about 13 minutes to cook. After cooking you just remove the lid, lift out the cooking rack and hold it with the eggs under cold water for a bit before putting them in the refrigerator. Cleanup is simple. I just rinse the lid and cooking rack with hot water, and wipe the heating plate with a little white vinegar on a paper towel to prevent mineral buildup. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that the buzzer that is supposed to sound when cooking is complete doesn't work on my unit. One reviewer said the buzzer is kind of loud and obnoxious, though, so not having one may be more of a blessing than a curse. It certainly isn't a deal-breaker, as the power shuts off when cooking is complete anyway. Hard boiled eggs come out great and are much easier to peel than when boiled in water. The unit comes with a small two-section tray for poached eggs, and that works great as well. I had poached eggs on toast for breakfast the other day, and they were excellent. The little tray is plastic, so make sure you grease the two sections with butter or cooking spray to prevent the eggs from sticking. I'm very happy with this unit. It has a very small countertop footprint, is simple to use and clean, and cooks hard boiled eggs to perfection. If you're on the fence give it a try; I think you'll like it!

I think I found the sweet spot with this little thing!
I’ve had this a month now and while it has always effectively boiled my eggs with ease, I typically had two or three eggs spew quite a bit out of the pierced hole and even crack a little each time I used it. (I always filled water to max line.) So I experimented yesterday and left six eggs out to get to room temperature prior to cooking thinking that maybe if the temp change wasn’t so rapid and drastic it would help. And it did seem to help some, but did get a little bit of spewing still. Today I did the same thing- leaving them out to get room temp first, but I also only filled water to middle line AND I forgot to poke holes in them. Well, no cracks, no spewing and they were cooked perfectly! I moved them right from the cooker to the fridge in the tray and when cooled I peeled one and was so happy to see it did cook well even with less water. I’m hoping these results can be repeated consistently! That being said, even when I did end up with some cracked a little, I still thought it was a great gadget for its speed and simplicity.

Perfect easy-peel eggs
This works just as well as using an instant pot if you are trying to make peeling your eggs easier. The nice thing is it cleans up a lot faster and easier than the instant pot. I did find that sometimes the yolk is not completely cooked. It’s just mostly cooked.I have dealt with that in two ways - either I put an extra quarter cup of water in at the beginning, or after it beeps I let it sit in the steam for another few minutes and that seems to do the trick. I will never boil eggs on the stove top again. This is so easy. I very frequently now just put two eggs in and make an egg salad sandwich for lunch. It’s so quick, easy to peel, and the cooking is no fuss.

So convenient but has burning smell
So convenient to use and been using it every morning. Does the job however not sure if it’s a design or quality malfunction on ours that every time there’s a burn smell at the bottom of the egg tray even before the beep so usually the moment we smell the burn—before the beep we will unplug it.

Love it
Only judging the Egg Boiler Function here (not the omelette function)... -Uses way less water than tradional methods. I am talking about 1ounce of water for 6 eggs compared to a couple cups - The boil starts within 15 seconds of pressing the on button thus saving tons in electrical consumption rather than trrying to boil a couple cups. - Eggs stand upright, no bashing into each other due to a rolling boil - The appliance is quiet, user friendly and feels really more safe than a boiling cauldron of water on the stovetop - Cooking times are true, its really 10 minutes for a medium egg + Cool off time of course... - We used to eat lots of eggs over-easy, involing butter and other fats. No we eat straight boiled eggs with salt n pepper. So its definetily healthier for us. I really thought this was a gadget thing, but there are huge advantages to using an egg boiler . Great for seasoned homecooks, families and single people who don't cook as much... Quick, Quiet, Easy to Clean and it WORKS

Excelente producto
