are the difference between the sets, the lengths?

I’m not sure if they are all different lengths. This particular one was enough to decorate the top of a shelf.

I have removed the battery strip from the bottom of each remote and I have installed batteries in the battery pack. Why are the remotes not working?

I don’t know, I use mine plugged in. I do know that my remote has to be close to the battery box for it to work for me. Hope this helps.
