Perfect for gaming and hearing surroundings
I've used these for two years now for all my gaming. The bass is not that strong, but I want a headset to hear footsteps, explosions and gunshots. Footsteps are clear in any direction, in-game and in my actual surroundings, I can clearly hear myself and someone in-person talking. Explosions and guns don't fatigue my ears after hours of gaming. They feel light on my head for long sessions, and padding is very comfortable. Listening to podcasts/people talking is crystal clear, and music sounds great despite being light on the bass. I can plug them into my PS5 controller, my PC's headphone jack, and laptop. The only real issue is such a short cable, but I got an extension. All in all, a perfect headset for me, they were $150 when I bought them.

The best Gaming Headset I've ever worn!
This headset offers amazing sound quality! They're also very durable compared to many of these other brands that make gaming headsets especially with the wire its very good quality. They're also very versatile you don't only need these for gaming, These sound SO SO good with music which make sense they are made by beyerdynamic.

Great for gamers and audiophiles
Great pair of headphones with several small downsides Pros +Insane imaging. I tested these with Overwatch and Apex and could always tell exactly where enemies were coming from. +Classic, durable beyer design. Pads are replaceable and so is the headband padding +A bit bassy, but still very enjoyable tuning +Great comfort. Low clamp and weight means that they don't put excessive pressure on any part of your head. +Open back means better overall soundstage compared to other gaming headphones Cons -Resolution not great. Not a huge issue for $180, but there are definitely better when it comes to details -Cups are a bit shallow and circular. Those with larger ears might need to buy thicker pads to maximize comfort -Open back design means you can't use these in an office or for commutes Great at-home gaming headphone that specializes in great tuning and impeccable imaging that is sure to satisfy both gamers and audiophiles alike.

Much wow
I've always used wireless 'gaming' headsets for my entire gaming career. They were very convenient. However....I wanted to try something different.....and I am so happy I did! These TYGR 300R headphones provided better clarity and sound stage compared to my Corsair Virtuoso XT. However, they did not get as loud. I would rate them 20% better than my prior wireless headset. And then I got an amp.....and WOW. These are now amazing! These have made my Battlefield experience way better. I can pinpoint what is going on around me pretty well, enjoy the Battlefield sounds I've never heard before, all while being very conformable to use. With an amp, these are stellar. Without an amp, these are very good.

It's aight
Headphone Cord is a bit weak and or jack, any tugs can cause it to break extremely fast while the cord is rubber so that does effect durability but the sound is amazing

A huge step up from Traiditonal gaming headphones
Wow. I looked through a lot of reviews prior to purchasing these. I was looking for a headset that was a step up from my Steelseries headphones. I play a lot of FPS games and wanted a headset that would give me great positional audio, but not sound flat. These headphones have the perfect amount of bass, I truly believe you could use these across any game genre. These are open back headphones, so be aware you will be able to hear your surroundings with these one. Open backs really are a game changer for FPS gaming though, the soundstage is just incredible. Some people avoid BD’s headphones due to the highs being too much on the ears. I’m happy to report the tuning on these scales back on that, still giving you the highs but not killing your ears. Comfort wise, they’re great. I can game for long sessions with these on. I game on PC and you honestly don’t need a DAC/Amp for these. Buy a 3.5mm to USB-C apple dongle and you are set. I’m not joking, it makes a big difference in audio quality. The only downside to these is a lack of a mic, I play with friends and talk via discord. I ended up buying the Hyperx solo cast for a mic. If you are ready to elevate your gaming, I HIGHLY recommend these, the tuning of these will definitely appease the majority of gamers.

Outstanding!
One of the most comfortable gaming headphones I have ever used! Believe me, I've gone through more headsets/ headphones than I can count. The sound quality is extremely clear thanks to the open back style. The cable is not detachable, and that would be the only flaw, which is minor. This is great for FPS games like Call of Duty. Footsteps are more noticeable, and you can clearly hear the direction they're coming from. Overall a fantastic headset!

Great Gaming Headphone!
Extremely comfortable and they sound great for both gaming and music. Had no idea that i didnt know what an actual gaming soundstage was until I booted up a few games to the play with these on. I had a very slight problem with some of the audio but just downloaded an eq and tweaked it a bit and now it sets up an extremely immersive soundstage in-game. I havent touched it with an EQ for music yet, but without tweaking anything its been great. It's not the best for very bass-y sub-bass genres of music like Hip Hop and EDM, but just off my motherboard audio these made my favorite songs a different listening experience. I paired it with a FX audio dac x6 I had sitting in a pile and having a blast listening to all my playlists again to see what new bits of every song i can actually hear and pick out now.

Good for music, games and movies. On the box it says that it comes with a draw string bag but I did not receive it. I contacted the seller, Pink Noise Pro, and they sent me the bag immediately.

Bought primarily for gaming (with some YouTube/film watching on the side) and they are GLORIOUS. They're my first jump into the beyerdynamic world, having previously owned multiple AudioTechnica, Sennheiser and Logitech headphones. The open soundstage is fantastic for shooters and there's plenty of detail. Furthermore they're one of the most comfortable headphones I've worn. As someone who wears glasses, clamping force is hugely important and the TYGR 300 R gets it just right. Not too tight that they cause discomfort against my glasses during long gaming sessions but not so light that they fly off my head at the slightest movement. Easily my favourite gaming headphones that I've used and they sound pretty good for watching films as well.

Very natural soundstage and clear imaging for FPS games. An S-tier among gaming headsets.
