If you have a Nissan CVT that needs frequent servicing, this fluid fits the bill. It’s convenient to keep on hand, works reliably, and the 1-gallon jug is the right size for a complete service without leaving you short. The pour is clean and controlled, which helps avoid messy spills in the driveway. I still recommend double-checking your owner’s manual to confirm compatibility, as some transmissions can be picky about fluid type. But for my Maxima, it’s been a great match. This transmission fluid works exactly as expected. I used it for a fluid change and immediately noticed smoother shifting and quieter operation. The is rated NS3 for my 2020 Infiniti QX60 CVT. The Nissan stuff is ridiculously expensive in comparison. After the drain, refill and filters change, the car shifts just fine. At 38,500 (mostly freeway) miles on the car, the old fluid was quite clean and there was very little residue on the three magnets. I probably could have gone to 60,000 miles without issue, but I'd rather baby his thing since I plan on keeping it for 10 or more years total.
