The order arrived quickly and the packaging was premium. Such a cool unboxing experience. Wow! Very fitting for cutting edge technology and not usually found in games segment. The dice look like jewelry in that case. They feel hefty, balanced, and super premium. You can use the dice for any game but the magic is in the App! The app reacts when rolling and throwing the dice. It recognizes and calculates outcomes flawlessly. We were amazed by the tech they must have put in there, and entertained by the light effects coming from the dice. The games themselves are simple and fun. They included a nice variety of games in their library. Classics like Yatzy and Backgammon are fun to play and a really super new experience. Other novel games like Ship Captain Crew with its pirate theme, Unlucky 7, and Shut the pool with those funny ladies diving are very detailed in graphics! All in all, this will be a great add-on for our weekends. Truly an all age toy. Kids to the elderly! Highly recommended.

I'm a mom of 4 kids, with a full time job, which means I barely have time to buy cool gifts for my kids, forget leaving a review for them. So this is going to be short and sweet. My oldest child (11) played with these 'magic dice' at a friends house and came home begging for a set. I actually trust this child a lot, so I went for it. I am sooooooo glad I did. Literally entertained the FAMILY, that's 6 humans (2 year old was running around with the dice and we had to chase after him, if you call that entertainment). I can't explain it but there was something so cool and different about playing with the dice in our hands... but enjoying the ease of a game on the device. Anything that is less messy, I LOVE. Also the charging of the dice is so cool We learned a game I had heard of but never played before (Yatzy) - Even my husband and I managed to sneak away for a few minutes - they continued to play other games on the app and keep quiet and entertained. We took it with us on a family trip, since it legit takes up no space. The older 2 kids kept themselves entertained the whole flight. A big WIN for us !

I bought sets of these for my players for Christmas, one set for each player, it was very expensive but we've been playing together for a long time and I wanted to get them something unique. We play online, but everyone loves rolling real dice, so, I found the fix! The problem is, they're so finicky to set up it's almost like a curse. I originally wanted to switch to using these completely for our game as a cool group thing to do, but because they keep losing connectivity and they run through battery power so fast that they can't even last through one full session, I ended up just making a special rule where once per session if the player connects their dice for a roll they can have one free reroll if it turns out bad. That way there's no "oh no, wait, I have to charge it for a sec" or "hang on, it disconnected again", it's just connecting it and rolling once or twice. In THAT light, definitely not worth the amount of money I spent, but still a cool idea. Just wish it turned out better. ----- UPDATE: After seeing my review, they reached out to me to offer me a full refund as a courtesy, which I was really impressed by. I thanked them and accepted the offer... and they followed up by basically saying "wait, before we give you a refund, are you *sure* you're not just using it wrong?", which was a little insulting but I guess understandable. I responded that I've been using them for a while and the problems are consistent across all my players and myself, all of whom are more than capable of following the instructions and troubleshooting, and the main problems are a design issue and not user error. So they continued to question me instead of actually processing the refund they'd offered until I pointed out what they were doing and why it wasn't making a good impression. Then they processed a PARTIAL refund - they refunded a little over HALF the cost of ONE of the sets. Absolutely NOT a "full refund", not even remotely close to the amount I spent, pretty much an intentional slap in the face actually. Word to the wise: DO NOT pay full price for these, try to get them used, and don't bother with their customer service if you need help or if you want a refund, they'll talk you in circles and then not actually give you the refund they'd offered. Absolute joke.

Great item. It comes with a few games that some families and kids might like. I bought them because they can link to several of the most popular VTTRPGs services out there. They seem to work well in that ratguard. I purchased the shells so I can use them for all kinds of dice types other than D6s. They charge fast. Usually withing 10 to 20 seconds. I have had a little bit of an issues with connectivity and dropping which is why 4 stars and not 5. t's easy to find the dice you want because tapping on the app or Computer interface window the particular dice will light up if its connected. Some of the colors are pretty similar so if you are color blind to some degree visually they might be harder to distinguish. Again, you can always use the app to find the dice you want.

It does seem that there are some manufacturing problems with these. I bought one set and it stopped working after a day, but I was able to send it back and got a replacement set. The replacement has been working perfectly fine for months. I love these. I do wish they were a little heavier, but it's so much fun to roll physical dice for a virtual game!

We player with these when visiting friends, over the years we had played Yahtzee a lot with these friends and the had bought these too use when we got together, we played a couple rounds and it was nice to not have to write your scores down, however, during the second game the dice kept losing connection and I just figured it might need batteries in the charger. Fast forward to getting our set of dice, we figured they would be good to take on our upcoming trip to Thailand, we thought we would give them a trial time last night and the dice continually lost connection, it was mainly one of the die, (orange) and while you could usually get it to reconnect and it wasn’t much of an issue during Yahtzee, when trying to play Gale farkle, it was ridiculous in how often two or more of the dice would loose connection, it wouldn’t score correctly, we finally got through the game and turned it off, it was too frustrating. I will give them another try before returning them. They are a great idea, but need to be more reliable for what they cost.

I am the classical analog Mama who cherishes good old fashioned game nights away from screens. So when I received Go Dice as a gift I was very sceptical. Why will I want my family to spend more time in front of the screen? Little did I know that not only my 11 year old would fall in love with these dice- but me too!!! The GoDice experience is surprisingly haptic. Unboxing the dice reminded me of the thrill of unpacking my first iphone. Beautiful box: Great quality, solid materials, high production values. The dices feel just like normal dices but have the added feature that they light up. Installing the software was super easy. The first play we all played was Ludo (like Parchesi). I loved the sounds emitted by players achieving their destinations or when being eliminated. Now when I play a normal board game it feels weirdly quiet...as if something was missing. We can't wait for more games to being released/ developed. These dice will be one of the first things to pack for any family vacation from now on.

This is THE IT GAME. i was so impressed with this set of dice for many many reasons. #1. It is very easy to use and that good for littles. #2 it is fun but at times educational and that is great for parents. #3 It is compact and can charge anywhere and I love that feature. and the charge is so dang fast it is unreal. This really is an amazing concept. the ONLY thing I wish it had, was more game. but other than that, man did they knock it out of the park with with one!!!! The GoDice are exactly what I wanted for my online D&D game that I run through FoundryVTT. It does take some work to get set up properly so it's not for beginners. However, not everyone is using the dice for that. The companion app has plenty of online games with which the dice can be used, requiring minimal setup. They pair perfectly with the polyhedral shells my wife bought me for my birthday, which are also from the same company. Overall, I'm very happy with this set.

Really pleased with this, our grandson loves it ( keeps him off his iPad), and played all 4 games all day at Xmas. We (adults) also enjoyed it. Easy to assemble, sturdy, and good quality parts and accessories.

Wir haben zwei Stunden gespielt und die Würfel hatten immer noch über 30% Leistung. Ich hoffe, dass der Akku der Würfel in einem Jahr immer noch Leistungsstark ist. Aber das wird sich noch zeigen. Die Würfel funktionieren super und die Spiele sind toll! Auch wenn sie auf Englisch sind und man erst beim Spielen versteht, wie es tatsächlich geht. Spaß macht es trotzdem!

attention, grosse arnaque. l'application n'est pas mise à jour, ( suffit de lire les commentaires ) l'application ne suit pas forcément ou ne reconnait pas tous les dés. Certains jeux sont injouable, comme si l'application plantait sur l'ecran du jeu. Pour d'autres jeux, l'application à du mal à reconnaitre les dés. Vous lancez les 5 dès et seuls 3 sont mis à jour sur la tablette. etc etc etc .. que des bugs de ce style là ! c'est dommage car le concept est sympa. autre défauts, les dés se décharge en 2 heures, meme sans jouer. Heureusement le chargement est rapide, mais la question se pose après plusieurs mois d'utilisation, s'il faut les recharger toutes les 3 minutes, ya aucun interet
