This device does exactly what I want with the reliability of a wired connection. The quality is decent, and I appreciate the on/off switch to preserve battery life. There’s a slight learning curve at first, but it’s straightforward to use afterward. My only criticism is that it’s a bit small in the hand. I’m using it with a Sony A7RV.

It certainly isn't the best made interval timer I've seen, but it has the functions I need and works well with my Sony A7iii. I use it to time exposures longer than 30 seconds. It is good value for the money overall. The batteries last a long time. A few downsides... In cold temperatures the screen doesn't always display clearly. Since the screen doesn't incorporate the mode labels, when it is dark and you are changing the settings the screen backlight doesn't illuminate what those mode labels. I find myself using a headlamp to see what is going on. So it isn't the best device for night/astrophotography. Lastly it just feels cheap. It has not failed me yet, but somehow I always worry it will fail one of these times. If I were looking for something to use in a professional setting I would look elsewhere.

This has been the greatest tool in my astrophotography toolbox, it works so well and once you get used to the menu it's an absolute breeze to use. I would recommend some kind of mounting mechanism so that it's not dangling if you are using it for astrophotography

Bought this to try some astrophotography. It was very easy to use with the included batteries. Plug and play with my A73. A little plasticky in the feel, and lightweight but I don't plan in beating it up. I'd say it was a great value for the price. No frills it just works.
