I just ordered the 64gb, it has songs on it making the storage 57gb.how do i erase these? when i hold the “delete” it has no delete option

58.2g is all the usable memory. You will not get the full 64g due to operating system and such. You can scroll to settings and there go to storage then format the memory or factory reset.

Does it make noises when the battery is dying

The battery did not make noise when it died half a day after arrival. I never got to use it over 40 minutes. The recorder stopped working.

Can you plug a mic into the earphone jack to record calls on a landline phone?

You will need a recorder with a mic jack microphones don’t work in an audio output jack
