Best hooks ever!
I love theses hooks and have bought all sizes twice! I love to crochet but fibromyalgia and arthritis was spoiling my fun. I tried one of these hooks and then I was hooked! They also work so well with wool, and don't snag. They glide easily no matter the yarn or stitch. The design is very comfortable and the grip is good and causes no pain for me.

Great quality, Very smooth!
These are great quality and comfortable to hold. The grip on the handle is great. These are a higher price point than I have paid previously for hooks and absolutely think they are definitely worth it. I'm still a beginner but have some slight dexterity issues and these are so easy to use. The only thing I have to say is I got a mix of mm and us letter sizing on the handle of my hooks. This may make things confusing as I'm a UK crocheter who is used to mm sizing so assumed they would be that. The length of the neck of these is great for me personally as I enjoy having a longer neck on my hooks. Really pleased!

Good hooks but us sizing- now fixed on listing
Great hooks but I'm glad to see they have updated the listing as they have US sizing, which I didn't realise untill I went to use them. It's irritating as I'm not familiar and have to keep double checking. Still, good hooks but I'll buy the larger set elsewhere with mm sizing.

Comfortable to use
Choose these due to arthritis in my hands. These are so comfortable to the touch and the shape of the grip

Did not disappoint
Fantastic hooks for those who have issues with hand cramping . I have many different kinds of hooks and was still getting a hand cramp. I decided to try these ones. And they are Fantastic. Easy to crochet with perfect ergonomics, smooth for the yarn to glide through. Perfect quality and the price wasn't too bad either.

These are still the best! If you want to crochet try these!
Update: Basically I can say the same as before but add: Best crochet hooks EVER! My love for these hooks has multiplied! As I have stated am not a fan of aluminum crochet hooks. My mother-in-law has grown up using aluminum crochet hooks. They are her go to! I still consider myself a beginner due to learning new styles of crocheting! I have been crocheting on and off for 6+ years! I have never broken any hook! I have lost a few which has made me a “hoarder” of these hooks! LOL! So these are my favorites and I still love Rosewood Hooks. Rosewood crochet hooks are more expensive. Part of original review: I started with aluminum hooks. They constantly slipped while I was trying to learn and made my tension and stitches uneven. For those that love Aluminum hooks like my mother-in-law, it is great that they work for you and I am happy for you! They just didn’t for me. 🙁 I first tried using more economical crochet hooks so I went through short aluminum with padding on the handle, long plain aluminum, cheap bamboo (which are better than aluminum) that I sanded or used hand chisels to make smoother. Then I tried some rosewood ones that have a hard resin on them and The PRYM ergonomic hooks. Even plastic hooks that were name brand did not hold up well or had a bump (where the plastic came out of a mold or an extrusion process) that yarn caught onto and broke or split the yarn. None were as consistent as the PRYM and the heavily coated rosewood hooks. PRYM crochet hooks are smooth with no processing bumps on them and longer than the rosewood ones I have! The PRYM Crochet hooks have not broken and they hold the yarn in the hook without slipping. That makes it easier for me not to miss a stitch nor have to constantly worry about my tension. Yes I still have to work on my tension and stitch making but I felt like I didn’t have the hook itself fighting against me. I love these hooks and they are cheaper than my rosewood set. So if you are starting out, go with the PRYM hooks. The only downside is if you buy the sets then you may have to take out the cardboard that gives the Letter designation and write beside the letters the millimeter for each hook. That’s what I did. I just took that little piece of cardboard out and just wrote what millimeter each hook was above where they have have letter designations. Or write the mm destination on box where you put the hook into the box. The larger set came with just a millimeters on them. The smaller set came with just the letter designations on them so that’s why I took the cardboard down and wrote the millimeters on the smaller set, but it looks like now they only sell them with the letter designation for each hook! I probably need to put the letter designation beside the millimeter of each hook onto the cardboard. If I have to ever get another set of these, especially the larger set that I purchased first, I will write the millimeters beside the letter designations. When I purchased the larger hook set hooks were listed as millimeters. Most patterns and Yarns refer to what millimeter hook you need. But some patterns may just have the letter designation on the pattern so it is best to keep the hooks in their boxes and write both designations down just in case. Hopefully this helps someone especially those who are new to crocheting and are trying to work with tension and keeping an equal stitch size. I also do not get wrist fatigue when using them! I cannot tell you how these these hooks have helped me improve and learn crochet on my own like I did through books and YouTube videos. I’m currently working on a circular potholder for my sister with bulky 100% cotton yarn! I hope this helps those like myself who needed to find the best crochet hooks for themselves!

Great set for a great price!
At first I could not stand these hooks, mostly because they were plastic, however there is more to these hooks than meets the eye. Let me backtrack…..I’ve been crocheting for over 20 years, I’m a dedicated clover, Boye, and Tulip fan through and through. However I wanted to try something that was easy on the hands, so I succumbed to the social media pressure and got me those crazy expensive Furls crochet hooks in resin and metal. I thought I hit the jackpot in owning these, however I quickly discarded them as they are heavy and sharp, plus they snagged the yarn/wool a lot. Mainly due to them being in line hooks which I have not figured out the secret to mastering these types of hooks, Susan Bates is the closest I got. Anyhow, after a couple minutes of using the furls and them not feeling to comfortable in my hands, I decided they were just beautiful to look at and nothing more. I purchased these and I had to get over the plastic aspect to them, but let me tell you, they are a dream. Long necks and handles makes the stitches glide smoothly. The handles themselves fit nicely in your hand and they don’t constantly turn and rotate like the Furls. They are more of an oval handle and not completely round. You need that so it stays flat in the palm of your hand if you are using a knife grip. They are light which causes no strain. I highly recommend these hooks, might even purchase a backup set just in case. They are perfect for whipping up with wool or acrylic yarns. I make Afghans and blankets. They are perfect!
