Easy to use
Easy to assemble, started right up with issues, has split cords of wood to great size for handling. Great price, saved our back from using hand axe.

Very solid log splitter; goes right through the rounds of wood with ease. Needs assembly.
Very impressed with how well-built this log splitter is. It was a bit challenging to assemble, and I think it should be clear in the product description that assembly and purchase of fluids is required. We put it together and fueled it up in a couple of hours. We are very impressed with how powerful it is, and how easy it is to move around with the nice handle and good wheels. The most impressive part is the log splitting itself. We tried it out on fairly large pieces and it went through them easily and quickly. Very happy with this purchase!

Worth the money
Great little splitter that has worked great so far. The only safety issue is it's a bit heavy on the engine side so it can tilt up on end if you're not paying attention. for half the price of other splitters, i'm pleased with it! UPDATE Oct 2022...splitter still works great. I recommend tightening the screws periodically or take them out and add some Locktite. The screw behind the splitter handle came out and caused the seal to split due to the hydraulic pressure. Vibration seems to cause them to come loose. Update March 2023... the achilles heel to this splitter is the seal that is on the valve controller. I've had to try and seal it a few times using various gasket supplies. I finally got fed up and bought the RuggedMade 25 GPM Hydraulic Log Splitter Directional Control Valve, Auto Return Detent Lever Handle, 2750 PSI from Amazon for $105. Get the one that has 1/2" work ports. For the 3/4" ports, go to the hardware store and buy a 3/4 to 1/2 NPT reducer. Works great now especially since the RuggedMade has a built in pressure relief valve.

Awesome splitter!!
Amazing splitter!! I bought it thinking it would be a great little splitter for kindling but I just it all the time now and it's very powerful. The return arm is very handy and I've split 10 cords of wood in a very short period of time. Starts on the first pull. Didn't use it for almost 4 months and started right up. Two of my friends were so impressed with it they bought one also!! Guaranteed, you will be very happy with this one!!

Poor quality
Metal frame is strong enough, it splitt. Only lasted one year.

Does the job!!
We burn all winter. Every couple of days I listen to my husband splitting wood outside. It takes weeks. He doesn’t mind since he thinks it’s good exercise but now that he’s in his 60’s, I worry about him hurting himself. I finally convinced him to get a log splitter. What a game changer. He split all the wood for the entire winter in three days. Very impressive. So worth the investment. It’s small and compact so it doesn’t take up much space in the shed. He was able to move it all over our property & split the logs instead of hauling big, heavy logs to the house. Would definitely recommend

Easy set up, does the job
Got it together in about 30min, just add gas, oil and hydraulic oil, and you're good to go. Be sure to cycle the hydraulic oil and make sure you put in enough. It says 1.6gal., but I found it took a little more. It's super light, and yes, super handy. Lol. Went through 2 cords of seasoned juniper and it even kept up with the really knotty stuff. My 8 year old operated it with no problem. Great little splitter for the price!
