Manhattan Toy Atom Rattle & Teether Grasping Activity Baby Toy

My baby has LOVED the Manhattan Toy Co. toys - we got a different one as a gift at my baby shower, so we looked aroud for other similar things and found this company's toys. We bought this and it quickly became one of my son's FAVORITES as a baby. It was super easy for him to hold, chew on, shake, rattle, sick on, throw, etc... as he got a little older, he liked to pull on the little rings. The little rings also are great because we were able to loop one of those pacifier straps onto it. We snapped it onto his car seat / bib / crib side / clothes etc.. so he could play with it without it falling to the ground! it's sort of small, but is the perfect size for baby. its a flexible material that's great for chewing and working those hand muscles! :)

Let's be honest...I purchased this because I thought it was cute and quirky. Eyes were rolled by the spousal unit when he discovered I bought it just because it was an "atom", but I love it all the same. The oldest child played with it a little, but the younger one goes nuts over it. Thank goodness, because I was starting to get crap for buying something just because I thought it was cute. It makes a good rattle when shaken and is perfect for his little drooly teething mouth. He chews on this thing repeatedly and seems to like the toughness over the squishier teething toys we own. It's the perfect size for his little 1-year-old hands and the colors seem to keep him intrigued. It also works well for entertainment while we're in the car, which is good since it doesn't take up a lot of room. And yes, I still get a giggle over the fact that it's an atom. That may make me a bit more biased in my rating, but I don't care.

It took a bit for my little one to be interested in this toy. When she realized that she could put the ball part in her mouth and it would rub her gums she started to grab it from me! It isn’t heavy at all so she can easily play with it, the balls are not overly hard either! It’s just a super cool toy! I think I bought it more for my interest in it than anything. It could have been a few dollars less expensive for the size however it is the right size for her small 6 month old hands! Quality for sure!

My 4 month old loves this toy! Its very easy to hold, chew on, and fun to look at. Its been her favoret toy since she got the motor skills to hold things. And its very easy to clean I just pop it in some scolding hot water with a drop or 2 of dawn dishsoap and swoosh it around for a few minutes and rinse it off real good and its good to go. Could even be used in the bath if you really wanted. Its great for keeping her entertained in the car or store as well its the perfect size for on the go or just chilling at home in the bouncy seat.

It’s smaller than I anticipated but it’s perfect size for my daughter. She’s 3 months old and is really grabbing and holding things. The rattle noise is different too when you shake it and the rings start moving. She loves the colors and the noise!

I got this toy for my granddaughter and she loves it! It is bright and colorful, easy for her to hold/grasp, and as many babies do, she loves putting it in her mouth and using it as a teether. As far as cleaning, it's fairly easy, but be aware that their are some holes in the toy, so while you're cleaning, try not to get them wet or if you do, make sure they dry out. Overall, this is a wonderful toy/teether and I highly recommend it.

Love this little teether. It's the perfect size for a newly teething baby. I have a 5 month old and this is just the right size. She can grab it anywhere and hang onto it. It isnt too heavy, so she has no issue getting it to her moth, and the little circle jingle and keep her occupied. The little teething balls go just far enough to chew and not gag her. It is small and easy to throw in the diaper bag. You can't tell from looking at it, but it ISN'T hard plastic. It has movement and bends which I love. I was worried that it would be hard plastic, but was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. The rings are plastic.

Baby loves this toy and so do I! Even in his earliest days, baby was engage by the sounds and movement of pieces on this one. He is now 11 weeks old and is grasping and holding with one or both hands. It's light weight and multiple grasp points makes it so much easier for him. For me, it will entertain him long enough for me to fold a few clothes or make a few bottles, which at this stage is super helpful. It's also relatively small in comparison to smart toys and doesn't take up too much space in his diaper bag. A huge plus, IT IS DISHWASHER SAFE! That gives me one less thing to wash in the hot water that has my hands begging for mercy. This toy is a must have.

Smaller than first thought. Good toy for teething. Sterilised fine in UV steriliser with no heat.

We got this as a gift for my baby and it has been his favourite toy from day one, and is still well loved by my now 9 month old! It was great for the newborn stage because it rattles and the colours are so fun. The shape makes it very easy to grab for when they get to the grasping stage. The size and feel (the stems are bendable and the ends are a durable rubber) are perfect for fitting in their little mouths (but not so long that it gags them) for when they are teething. It has been his most consistent go-to toy, and since it is small we take it with us when we travel. Overall, this toy has remained a favourite through many developmental stages and has continued to keep him interested. This will be one of my go-to shower gifts. Highly recommend!

It’s a nice toy, very well made with a good amount of weight to it, if your baby hits himself then might cause him to get hurt. Otherwise a good tether
