Review: 100% Awesome Purchase! - Purchased this as a gift for my friend's son. Love it so much, I'm purchasing another copy for my daughter! Firstly, the quality of the book is great. I'm surprised this isn't priced higher. Secondly, the combination of drawings and text is wonderful! I'm getting it for a 4 year old, but it's age appropriate for more like a 6-8 year olds. So it feels like a book we get to grow into. Lastly, I am OBSESSED with the idea that this is set up as an encyclopedia, not a story book. It's complete with an index and a glossary! It's the first book my child will have that is intended for her to look things up. I'm an academic, I have problems getting my college students to grasp that the need to use peer reviewed studies, and that google is not "research". So the idea that I can start with a subject my kiddo is interested in, and get her used to the idea that BOOKS contain knowledge and facts, is sort of a big deal to me.

Perfect start dinosaur book!
My 4 year is obsessed with this book! It’s absolutely amazing! He’s able to learn more dinosaurs, have the ability to see the pronunciation of each dinosaur and their time period.

Wonderful book for curious minds
I bought this when I was babysitting a 6 year old dinosaur enthusiast. He loved it! And actually, I did, too. Great info with pictures and easy to understand. There is even pronunciation tips for each dinosaur.

This seems to be a good book but needs a reader who can understand the big words.
Good pictures but requires some reading skill to understand some of the words.

Fantastic book!
Fantastic book for my three year old grandson. He absolutely loves this book and we read it every time he comes to visit. Twice a week and he still has questions and loves me to read it to him.

Useful & fun to read Encyclopedia
Purchased for my 5 year old grandson. He already knows a lot about dinosaurs and is starting to read, so this will be useful for many years. It is colorful, has pronunciations & lots of facts about all the dinosaur periods like a good encyclopeida should. I enjoyed reading it as well!
