Brilliant product and easy to install. One small problem is that the Ac/Dc adapter only has a 1 metre cord. I had to order another ac/dc adapter so cost me a little more. I have used a Bluetooth plug so I can switch it on from my phone doing away with the remote which I may lose at some point

I asked a question about this, but I then realised that I just whipped the backing strip off and that left a bare light strip. You need to separate the paper backing from the film which should stay stuck to the light strip. I was too rough with it. I was able to back up and reapply the backing and then carefully separate the adhesive side from the protective film side. Bit by bit. Why? Because I also stupidly tried out the light whilst still on the spool. DO NOT DO THIS. The coiled strip will get too warm and that makes the backing wrinkly and fragmented when you try to remove just the protective film. Thats not all. Do not leave the strip on when it is still coiled as IT ALSO WILL MELT THE SPOOL. I got the set installed after wrangling the backing issue and they light up great. Also if you are using mains, be sure the inline receiver is plugged in so that the remote works. You might get away with it if you dim diwn to 20% but no higher till you have emptied the spool. I have ordered a 2nd set to finish off my windows. I LOVE the ability to reduce the brightness etc. So I can recommend that this light set is worth the price for its brightness, and easy installation if you don't bugger up the separating the back from the sticky part that should stay on the light strip if you are careful. And again... DO NOT light it up but for a few secs when still on the spool so it doesn't 'cook' the adhesive and spool causing you aggro. I bought these to put on mullioned windows as extra back lighting to a window film that has a stained glass pattern. I wanted it to look Christmasy! Fingers crossed it will work out when all is in place.

We bought this to replace under counter lighting in our kitchen. The old lights were almost like hospital white lights so we wanted something warmer. In my opinion these are so warm they are pretty much yellow lights. I also bought the 4000k to compare and that is quite a white light - so bear this in mind if you’re looking for a warm LED strip. They are really bright. We have them down at 50% brightness under our counter so I’m sure they’d do really well up lighting a space or lighting up much larger areas. The lights retain the memory of the last brightness level, even when switched off at the plug. Cutting and sticking was a breeze.

I bought these lights in Jan 2025. The lights have been great, good quality and as described. I had them fitted into my media wall. They looked great. Sadly 9 month later, 26/10/25 we were watching TV and we could smell burning. Not knowing where the smell was coming from until the lights went out. I removed my TV and the power plug (24volts) was smouldering and on fire 🔥. Obviously it was a shock as the lights are on a timer and they come on when we are not in the house. A very lucky escape if we were not at home. BE VERY CAREFUL BUYING THIS ITEM 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The lights are great colour and quality. They fade when turned on and off which gives them a premium feel.
