Beautifully made protection.
I'm pleased I went with this Windcamp "full-body" protection rather than a front-only "Carry Cage" type. It really does inspire more confidence when handling the 705. The front handles are of a good size too, making maneuvering or carrying the unit easy and comfortable. I should point out that with the ARK-705 Shield fitted you lost the bottom tripod thread. Also, the 705 will no longer fit into the top section of the Icom LC-192 Backpack - perfectly understandable as it's a tight-fitting compartment and this is a substantial protective cage. I have not found either of these things to be an issue, but it's worth knowing this in advance. I'm 100% satisfied with the quality and value and have no reservations in recommending this product to other amateurs. 73

Nice product, your expensive radio deserves protection.
Nice product. I initially thought that it didn’t come with the mounting screws but they were well packaged and taped on the cardboard padding. Good fit and finish. There was s a tiny little hex screw securing the antenna adapter. In my opinion that could be a bit larger and more robust. Overall I am happy with this.
