Paradise Diced Citron, 8 Ounce

Great product, but wish it could have delivered earlier. It's nice and thick and I know the sun will not shine thru it, which is what I wanted

Candied citron is a must have for Christmas and Easter baking. From traditional fruitcakes and stollen to hot cross buns, this citron adds just a hint of tang and a splash of color to your baked goods. An 8 ounce container provides enough to accommodate most recipes. The package is shelf-stable and easy to open and close. The product stays usable for several weeks after opening.

This is just what I need to make my mother's recipe for stollen or hot cross buns. Too bad it's so expensive!

Good product, but not as flavorful as diced citron I've bought before. I would still recommend it if you are looking for diced citron.

This holiday season, there was no candied citron available in any local store for some mysterious reason, even though I’ve purchased this exact Paradise brand in stores before. I was elated to find it on Amazon and ordered 3 containers. It is exactly the same as I used to buy in store, and arrived well packed. Thanks to this product, my Christmas lebkuchen baking was a success.

I use only Paradise fruit mixes at the holidays when making fruitcakes. I decided to try the diced citron this time in a lemon pound cake for some additional kick. It was priced right so now was the time! When it arrived, I expected the quality of fruit I got with the mixed & was not disappointed, the fruit has a nice fresh, clean look that will look great in the cake, Tried a few pieces, no signs of it not being fresh & it tasted great. Perfectly sized for baking & like other Paradise products, I am sure it will retain the color when cooked.
