Cinelli Cork Ribbon Bicycle Handlebar Tape in Multiple Colors

I didn’t see too many examples of the macro splash red/black pattern so I wanted to show mine off. This was my first wrap and it was pretty easy. It’s forgiving too if you need to go back and rewrap a section you’re not satisfied with. It has a nice feel compared to the rubbery tape that came on my new Trek. The color and pattern look pretty cool on my red bike with black bars.

My favorite bar tape. Easy to wrap and can be unwrapped if you mess up. Nice thickness and very comfortable. May not look as modern or fancy as others but those you usually cannot undo. I’m no pro so I like being able to undo a portion if it doesn’t look right. The other synthetic leather and foam tapes will rip, if unwrapped. I use this on my road and gravel bike. Great tape at a great price.

I've used Cinelli cork tape for decades and am always pleased with it. It eases fatigue on long rides but allows for a solid feel of the road when pushing your limits. It may not be as durable as vinyl to abrasions, but it is definitely more breathable. The grip is phenomenal in wet weather, and you probably won't need any padding in the palms of your gloves. Hands down, a better material for endurance comfort than gel tape.

Installation was easy haven’t torn yet. Do yourself a favor, learn to wrap your bars. $25- $40 for 15-20 minutes work is to damn high. “For Me”

Very plush, aesthetically vibrant, but most importantly - it doesn't retain sweat and my hands don't slip when I start to sweat. Ridden almost 200 miles total with this tape and I know when it comes time to rewrap my bars I'll be coming back to Cinelli.

I wrapped up the VNM GT Steering wheel which originally had rubbery grips which I hated because it leaves the hands sticky and also gets dirty very quickly. These wraps are cork and fit perfectly fine over the steering wheel and greatly enhanced the touch and feel of the steering wheel! Would highly recommend them due to the durability, affordability, and looks.

Easy to install and seems to last a long time. Even though they are white color, don't get very dirty and are easy to clean. The medium foam feels very comfy for long rides.

You may be fooled into thinking the expensive fancy bar tapes are the way to go (I certainly was) but nothing beats good ol' Cinelli cork for comfort, ease of installation, durability and cost. And sure you can save a few bucks buying a no-name cork wrap but Cinelli actually includes finishing tape you will want to use instead of electrical tape (it's strong, sticky and has a grippy texture) and the bar ends fit perfectly unlike cheaper ones I've used. Stop goof'n around and just buy this tape.
