Worked for my sick rabbit
I have a 6 year old Holland Lop who our vet said probably has an immune deficiency, as he has tested positive for three unusual different bacterial respiratory infections. They're chronic, so we give him two oral antibiotics every day and nebulize another to keep him reasonably healthy and comfortable. We vary the dose and frequency as we and the vet seek the best solutions for him. It's a challenge. He's still a happy boy though, and that's what we are aiming for. Rabbits use bacteria for their digestive system, so having the right bacteria is so important to avoid problems like GI stasis or diarrhea, both of which can kill them. As well as the three bacterial infections he has. So a delicate balancing act between his bacteria, good and bad. HealthyGut probiotics really helps in that endeavor. I've tried another brand but wasn't as happy with the results. We've had another couple of rabbits who passed from old age related issues that have done well too on this. I just want to say that don't just use the recommended amount every day, sometimes it can be a little less, like even a half scoop or less. They can get too much probiotics as well as too little. Judge by the quality of the cecals and your rabbits response. I just sprinkle it on top of his pellets and he seems to like it and will always eat it. For rabbit gut health, I recommend Sherwood (by far the best brand) pellets, and their rabbit vitamins treats. hay, water, and this probiotic. Sherwood explains it on their website. I believe a rabbit's diet should be simple. Avoid greens, carrots, and such as they have too much sugar (lettuce and carrots are best for cartoon and children's books rabbits). I also replace this probiotic as they seem to lose effectiveness over a period of months to a year, so I just get the small size. They really last a while. Our last two rabbits before this one each lived to 11 years, both used this probiotic, and neither died from gut problems. Our current bunny, Gizmo has amazed our vet, who says he shouldn't even be alive at this point, and was cautioning us a while back that Giz probably wasn't going to make it. But he is thriving in his way and doing really well. HealthyGut isn't the only reason, but it's a part of it. I give it to rabbits when they are healthy as well to keep them that way. We wish good health, joy and binkies for your rabbit(s)!

Life saver for my bunny!
I started giving this probiotic to my bunny a few weeks ago and the difference has been amazing. It’s super easy to mix into her pellets or greens, and she eats it without hesitation. Her digestion is so much better—firmer, more regular poops, and no more soft or messy spots. I even noticed she seems more energetic and comfortable. I love that it’s made specifically for rabbits, so I know it’s safe. Definitely a must-have for any bunny owner!

Digestive aid
I had a rabbit with digestive issues and started giving her this. It took it a little bit to clear things up but it did! It is nice to have as it came in a powder and I could sprinkle some on her food or hay. Good quality and value.

Looks like it's helping.
I have a lion maine rabbit, and her poop was getting quite smooshy. I purchased this product about 4 days ago and have been giving it to her daily on her vegetables like other people had suggested in the morning. I am posting this picture and we'll have an update in about a week or so. But it looks good as far as helping her tummy.

It works!
I've always fed my bunnies daily probiotics. After my favorite brand, American Health, had changed their formula (their chewable blueberry and banana flavored wafers of Acidophilus with Bifidus is sadly no more!), I desperately needed to find a replacement! Admittedly, my bunnies HATE this stuff! I've tried it, too, and it tastes horrific! I used to sprinkle two of the baby scoops onto their salad. However, they're smart and picky, and ultimately, I was worried that my older bun wasn't hardly getting any! (She'd leave the gritty salad leaves with the probiotic on them on the plate for her son, Trix, to eventually finish off.) GRRRRRRRRR! So, instead, I now feed them this with their daily banana! My older bun has to take Cosequin DS for her joints, and we finally figured out the best way to feed her her medicine! Our trick is to slice two wafers of banana, sprinkle the stuff on top of one slice, roll and spread the powder and smoosh it in a little, then top with the other slice. We also smoosh the two slices together gently for good measure! The result--both bunnies now take their 'medicine'!!! I feed these to both rabbits daily, and I no longer see runny poo-poos. (Nor do I smell them, either!) My older bun, Elvira, has health issues, as she is a rescue. She has a tendency to eat too many treats all at once. When she does, she gets the slimy poo-poos. Now, after I've been giving them this product for over two months, all of their poo-poos are nice and hard! That's a sign of excellent rabbit health! And, ultimately, that's all that I care about! Admittedly, this product could become better if their distribution networks kept this product refrigerated. I always used to only purchase my American Health probiotic chewable wafers from stores which kept them refrigerated. If they are not refrigerated, the taste is sharply affected, and I suspect, the quality of the probiotics as well. So, my only wish is that Amazon could keep this item refrigerated in their warehouses and their distribution trucks, etc. I firmly believe that if they did that, then this product would be even better!
