Reliable, Simple, and Affordable
It's simple, slim, basic, feels great and it works phenomenally. I'm genuinely impressed. I don't write reviews often but this one deserves one; it's a great little device at a killer price. I wanted to use my phone less so I got rid of streaming services and I decided to go back to owning my own music and listening to mp3s without the need for an internet connection. This little guy is a godsend. It's not feature-rich, it's not fancy, it just plays your mp3s at a great price and it does it well. I initially thought the screen was cheap because I had a bunch of scratches on it after a month or two - then I realized I forgot to take off the plastic film screen protector. I took it off and the front glass is perfectly clean and has since held up well. If this device ever kicks the bucket, I'll be back to buy another one. I don't know what else to say about it without sounding repetitive - it just works really well and I love it.

Wow a great price for a nice little machine--update
I have had it only a day. It arrived late in the day and I spent a couple of hours loading 32 GB of flacs ripped from my CD collection. In about 30 minutes of fooling around I have it pretty thoroughly working: I have local FM stations identified and some selected. I have listened to music from my flacs. Navigating the music is easy. I haven't figured out playlists but I never figured them out on other players so it's not clear if it's me or the device. I've played the sound through some fair buds by JBL and my SONY WH-H900N bluetooth noise canceling headset. I have no reason to try the included ear buds so far the sound is quite spectacularly good with the lossless flacs and good ear buds and headset. Wow what a deal. Yes, I'll agree that much is missing from the "manual." Poking around for a short time gave me the clues needed to "discover" how to set up FM stations, music files and navigate them, time setting and resetting for daylight savings time. Charging works well with my chargers USB C cables that I use for my pixel phone. All good so far. OK, I've noticed that immediately at the start of playing most of the flacs I've tried the sound is slightly dinged--basically they start up with a second or so of hiccuping and then sound great. It's as if it has to adjust to playing flac each time it start a tune. I don't know how it plays mp3s because I don't usually have lossy music. I'll try some different formats to see if others are started with hiccups. Radio is find, bluetooth works great. Interface is sensitive to touch so when handling the device it can suddenly detect a misplace finger and switch modes. For the price it still seems good but it remains to be seen if I can get it to play the initial second or two of music properly. OK, solved. Flac is a "lossless" music format. It actually has several levels of compression available that do not change how it should play. However the more a flac file is compressed, the more computing power that is required to uncompress it (and of course the more computing power was necessary to compressin the first place). I took an album of flac formatted music that played badly on the first few seconds of tracks on the Aimoosa and simply converted it to a less-compressed version. The application I used didn't tell me the formal number/name of the compression levels but it produced files about 14% larger. They play beautifully when the flac was less compressed. added praise: the included wired earbuds are quite good. Better across the full bandwidth than the earlier budds I grabbed to try it out. All in all a terrific bargain in a small but talented package.

Overall great Mp3 player
For the price, this is a great gadget. It's small, comes with nice earbuds, holds a lot of music, has a loud external speaker, and displays music well. The Bluetooth works great and I rarely have issues with that. One downside is that, every few months, the songs on the player will start stopping, skipping, hesitating, etc. Each time this happens, I have to clear the player and reload the music, and then it will work perfectly for another 2-4 months before the issue starts happening again. At such a good price, it's definitely worth it.

Awkward interface. Music nor organized by artist/album, & doesn't access all songs from microSD card
I really was pleased when I received this device, which I planned to use as an MP3 player. and for downloaded audiobooks The first thing I noticed is that it is not a touchscreen and the interface is very awkward. Still, I was looking forward to having a relatively small device dedicated to these purposes, as I really miss my old, now dead iPod nanos, and this device had 128GB. Know that the 128 GB is not onboard memory, but is in an off-brand microSD card that comes inserted into the device and requires tweezers to extract. It does come with a small SD card reader with USB-A interface, which I used to download about 1640 songs from my computer, which were organized by artist and album. These songs all downloaded within less than 5 minutes to the supplied 128GB microSD card, and I was able to view them by artist and album from this microSD card on 2 different computers and another MP3 player. However, when I plugged the microSD card back into this device, when I scrolled to artist or album selections, there was just one line message, which read "unidentified." When I tried to just play from all songs, I found them sorted alphabetically by song title, which makes it impossible to have a session with all music from one artist or one album, but each song that I tried did play. Then, when I scrolled through the songs, I discovered that of the 1641 songs loaded onto the micorSD card in the player, only 62 of them displayed and could be played. When I removed the card and attached it again to the card reader, all 1641 tracks still were on the card, were organized correctly by artist and album, and could still be played on the computer. So I returned this AiMoonsa player to Amazon. I don't know if this was a single defective device or if that is how all of them function, as all of the review videos that I saw online, which did check the music player only loaded fewer than 10 songs and did not comment on organization by artist or album.

Things to note before buying
I wasn't going to post a review for this thing until I've well used it and figured out its flaws. Bought it for use during work. I only use it for its music and clock features. Clock gets constantly out of sync and goes a bit faster than other clocks. battery life is roughly 3 hours so I guess that's why its quick to charge. Its Bluetooth feature takes a hot minute to work but it eventually gets there. Overall I got what I paid for. Despite the issues it has I still say its a good find.

First impressions of this are very good. The sound is good and the interface nice and basic but to the point and so easy to use. I didn't want something that connects me to Facebook. etc, just a nice little MP3 player that allows me to well, play my music. And this does just that. Pairing headphones was dead easy too. It has a couple of other features that may come in useful but for the now, it ticks the boxes that I wanted.

The MP3 player arrived without any instructions so it was really difficult to work out how to operate the device i.e. upload music and even to work out how to stop the player. Searching on Google also brought no joy. The player had music already loaded onto the MP3 player in Japanese and Chinese and I still have not been able to remove this music.
