TOWOT 63-37 High Purity Tin Lead Rosin Core Solder Wire for Electrical Soldering, Content 1.8% Solder Flux (1.0mm, 50g)

I was replacing an HDMI port on a PlayStation 5, and I kept fighting the solder I was using. I was told I needed leaded solder with the particular specifications this solder has. It worked perfectly. Nice bright shiny solder joints, and it seems like they hold very well. Makes soldering a breeze and cuts down on the time to get the repairs done. Great solder for a great price. Easy and great to use if used properly with the right settings, tools, and materials/flux. Great softness and malleable enough to maneuver and angle how I need for tough spots. Sturdy enough but still soft enough not to break when bent. Looks great and clean when used with properly with the proper flux. Regardless of the flux already present in it, you always want to use flux for better quality and better looking jobs. Thickness is great if you're buying the correct thickness you need. I am already buying more of this. I am getting a higher weight but smaller thickness for what I need and used because I tend to go heavier so I want to save more to last longer. Comparison

Have not put this product to the test yet. Amazon shipment arrived quickly but my purpose for this purchase comes about as I have always wanted an electrical type solder to supplement my silver solder which the latter is used on metal works. Thus, did a number of review and settled on this purchase for its 63-37 tin-to-lead ratio with rosin core built-in so as to eliminate an extra step of fluxing an item before solder application. Have always felt uneasy not having electrical solder when needed to conduct small electrical repair. Only time will tell if product meets expectation. Purchase size and solder thickness was deemed ideal for possible electrical repair when dealing with ease of flow and melting temperature. Happy with purchase just having it available.

I just ran out of some old solder I bought here on Amaz, and I really thought my Weller had bad tips, but it turned out to be the SOLDER! OMG, this new solder is SOOO much better than the old junk/garbage/now I'm mad at it solder! It's like my soldering iron is brand new again. It flows so beautiful now. The old solder had the exact same specs, so I guess you can't trust anything even if they say it. This solder works. I will only recommend this one from now on. It works as good as my old USA made solder.
