I bought these for my Aspen collar as I needed more extras than I was given by my doctors after my neck surgery. I was sweating a LOT and my head needed extra padding desperately to protect it from the hard shell while sleeping, as I was instructed to sleep on my back. Holes in the head from pressure are NOT fun. These solved that problem. Saved my sanity the weeks I had to use my brace. They are easy to wash, but I definitely recommend having a couple sets more than your doctor "thinks" you may need because they take some time to dry thoroughly, and switching only two sets will NOT be enough. Try to have a total of three or four purely to make sure they dry well, especially if you have sensory issues. Changing out these pads is really simple, pay attention to how your doctor had the first set installed when you go to swap out (or have your carer swap them, as it is safer to keep your head braced). If I ever have to have another cervical fusion I am definitely buying more of these for my shell. I would not have been able to order directly from the manufacturer and have them arrive in time.

Needed a couple of them to help my mom recover after surgery for twelve weeks. Bought these pads and hand washed each set several times with gentle soap and water to get through the recovery time. Good product.
