NINETY ONE MTB Cycle Series (KAMET - Sand Black, 27.5T - 21 Speed)

When I wanted to get a mtb I had a few constraints like:1. Suspension (prolly with a lockout)2. Disc brakes3. Hardtail4. 27.5' or above alloy wheels5. Alloy frame6. 21-speed Shimano Tourney gear setThis cycle has everything...with 16k price point...so dat was good.Personally found the assembly process to be fun. Putting the parts together was easy enough....but it took some Youtube videos to calibrate the brakes and the gears. I was initially confused about my disc brakes, though calibrated, just slipping and just not working...but later found out that new disc brakes should undergo "bedding" in order to grip properly....this should be done for any new disc brake, for it to not cause any issues later.Along with the bike, I've bought some accessories too...like a bell, lock, mudguard, chain lube, puncture kit, etc. You may also plan for it in advance.It's been a month since I've started commuting to my office in this cycle...quite a comfortable ride I should say. Saving on my commuting cost as well. My verdict - quite satisfied.\^o^/

Delivery was awsome. No damage to the product or the packaging. Everything was very carefully handled.Coming on to the bicycle-->When you receive it there are a few things you need to know about bicycles beforehand.Like:-1. How to adjust disc brake pads.2. How to properly tighten quick release.Etc. Good thing is that you'll find videos on youtube that are a great help.Upon receiving this one, I did some minor tweaks to it, that is mandatory for everyone to set it up accordingly. Or you can just take it to a cycle mechanic store and they'll do that for you.Pros:-1. Frame is impressively light and sturdy.2. These Shimano Tourney TZ500 derailleurs works butter smooth.3. Brakes are very good. I read some negative reviews about braking but it isn't the matter when you know how to make them work properly.4. Seat is way too comfortable. Like the saddle feels like a cushion. That's the best part about this cycle.Cons:-It was very hard to find cons about this as this is close to perfect. But some minro here and there I'd say, so here's all I felt.1. Frame is alluminium but the handlebar and front suspension is steel and that adds weight to it.2. Brakes are close to perfect but only when you tweak them properly. And by tweak I mean to adjustments.3. The seat post is a little hassle to tighten. You need to get it done from a store or you can do it yourself but you'll have to test it for 2 to 3 time before getting the right tightness.That's it.This one from Ninety One is close to perfect I'd say. Without any thoughts just go for this one if you want something under 20k. Best budget Hybrid MTB bicyle.

This is my second cycle of the same type. I bought the first from cycle World for 22k. 2 months later I bought this for 15k. The cycle gears are really smooth. The surrounding is good and the brakes are also nice. The cycle is very well made. The packaging is also good and since the brakes are disc, they are factory calibrated to work well from the get go. It took me an hour to assemble it alone. If you have help, you can assemble it in 15 minutes.

If a technical personnel came for proper settlements of Gear and Brakes then it would be a 5 star.

Amazing bike. Using it since 3 years, no major problem has occurred. Satisfied.

After one week front 3rd gear not working. Anybody going to buy it. Before Check shops once for tyre and frame size suits you.
