Excellent product for dry and inflamed skin

It's rare to come across a cream that is designed for multi-purpose use - face, hands, body - and so I was keen to see how suitable it is for that sort of use. First of all, it's almost more of a lotion than a cream as it's quite runny. When you remove the slightly flimsy inner lid, you have to be careful not to get cream everywhere! It's definitely not as thick as other creams that come in a pot like this. That said, it is indeed a rich cream and almost completely odourless which is a big plus if you don't want it to clash with your perfume. The ingredients list is impressive being very plant based. It is also made in the UK which is a bonus in my books. Once applied on the skin it does leave a slightly greasy residue. However as my skin is dry this does eventually become absorbed. I didn't find it personally suitable for my face for two reasons - first it's rather light and slightly oily and second it has no SPF and I always use a moisturiser that includes a good SPF to protect my face from the sun. It is perfectly good for the arms, legs and body generally though and a pot this size (225 ml) will last a decent time. However at £35 (at time of review) I would hope so as this is way more than I would normally spend on a body cream, hence the deduction of one star.

This is a nice hydrating cream with gentle smell and lightweight texture.. BUT... It costs £35 for 220ml and if I use it for my whole body then I would be consuming the whole jar after 3-4 showers only. I find this cost is not quite reasonable so I am using it for my face when I feel it's dry and need a quick nourishing fix. However, the ingredients are appealing such as the soothing Aloe Vera. The cream also has Chamomile, Green Tea, Shea Butter, Rosehip Oil and Calendula Extract.
