Significant reduction in heat! I haven’t the slightest clue why Sony just wouldn’t create this to begin with. But I digress. Not only does this look cool, it’s functional and helps the PlayStation 5 from overheating. You know how it is to be deep into a session, the last thing you need is your beloved overheating from excessive usage/heat. I’m very pleased with this product, it fits perfectly and was easy to install. I love the all black look. Harkening to the previous generations.

Awesome replacement for the white PS5 disc side covers.Came with two stick on screens to put on the inside behind the louvers for reducing dust. No problems with the install ,fit solid, and was able to pick up each side by the covers , I just wanted to see how strong plastic was without anything happening and very impressed on how they are built like original plastic Highly recommended!!!

5 star quality product just as good as Dbrand for a bit less and it works that’s that matters in the end! For anyone who has had random shut downs on PS5. This is it right here! I looked everywhere back fans didn’t work and I wouldn’t recommend that as it seems it can potentially make things worse. The openings in these plates for sure let the fans have better airflow and are of quality build. Far from cheap too but trust me this fixed random shut downs for those who know…know we have looked everywhere it’s so annoying and a headache. One thing I’d recommend not doing though at least for me the included filters while they keep dust away they also reduce airflow. So I only put one filter on the bottom side and everything has been good ever since then. Of course this was me because I went through so much over this issue so it’s your choice if you want to use the filters or not. As long as you keep it clean on a regular basis with these new plates heating problems and random shutdowns solved! As for the color it’s great seeing the PS5 in red and goes together with the red PS5 controller, thank you again.
