Great Compressor Air Dryer
Great product and works better then my previous air compressor dryer which used less desiccant beads and more changing of beads. The dryer filter is well made and holds quite a few beads. Overall I’m pleased with this product and would recommend it.

These are great--i keep refilling w fresh desiccant--they keep working
i do a lot of painting and have since last century--i've bought so many different water separator/in-line desiccant devices of every different type its a big deal when squirting paint--especially black and car and motorcycle paints when you're painting plastic--moisture will mangle a paint's ability to finish correctly--if your oiler is in the wrong place you just blew your whole day's work we use 303 for anything made or rubber and plastic but if we have to paint it later getting that silicone off it takes some doing... bc painting plastic is a little bit voodoo when your should is filled w silicon thats why i love these little driers so much--relatively inexpensive but NOT cheap--had one leak when i first installed it but only bc i was afraid to break the glass--just use a giant crescent wrench on the big black end top of the container to screw off/on when you need to refill it i've been using loctite klean & prime as an activator and loctite 565 as pipe dope lately and no tape no just wait 24 hours if i feel like being super cautious and no leaks out of my shop compressed air system--it says you can apply pressure instantly but i've seen bubbling when i spray my soapy water squirter on the 300 psi fittings *sometimes* when i just use them right away... not every time, but its happened before... probably user error... anyway i've been really happy w these... had them fitted up w quick connects after the regulators for the paint guns but it was making them really heavy w all that brass so i just started attaching them to the end of my reel that is dedicated to "paint guns only" and never has an oiler run on it--going to but one of those big rubber ball thingies that are attached to hose reels to keep them from reeling the hose in too far on the reel and attach it right next to this desiccant device so if the line drops on the floor it doesn't break the glass... i've dropped them before and been lucky they haven't broken... but why take chances? i probably won't buy one of those retractable rubber stop things for hose reels, i'll just fabricate something from rubber or delrin or whatever i have laying around... use a big circle saw to cut it round, drill a ~3/8"" or however thick the hose i'm gonna use it on in the center, drill a couple pilot holes on each side and then cut it in half w the scroll saw and now i've got my own DIY rubber "bounce guard" in case i leave the like on a workbench and it rolls off or whatever and it ends up on the ground... yeah i know its not worth the time but i'm pretty fast at fabricating stuff... plus i get to make it exactly how i want it and at my first job the boss nicknamed me "fusspot" bc i was such a perfectionist :/ it really bugged me back then but its served me well... as do these desiccant holders--there are none better unless you're using a 3 stage drier or giant industrial drier that costs many orders of magnitude more... i stack these up w a vapor separator and use another stack in the shop line far away from the compressor after the line has cooled down some and a lot of water drains off that one... so these work great i'm really happy with them i used to use the cheap throwaway disposable versions like these made by another company and those work great--the problem is over time you're gonna end up paying 10x-100x more than you would than one of these bad boys cost you bc you have to throw those away when they get saturated w moisture... i buy gallon jugs of that color change desiccant and just reload these when an air gun attached shows any moisture whatsoever coming out when tested against whatever just to check for moisture in the lines... we run an industrial drier in the "big shop" at work and still use tiny driers at the gun right after the mini regulator and i swear my "little shop" gets just as good (if not better) results than the big shop using a bunch of these and oil/water separators stacked up... they're great oh! the desiccant i use is "revivable" by cooking it in a pyrex dish in an oven for an hour or half an hour or whatever at ~200f (or some guys microwave it for 2-3 minutes but that creates a lot of moisture immediately as it escapes the desiccant and now where does it go? the stuff is too hot to touch at that point--you gotta leave it in a sealed low moisture room (i just leave mine in the convection oven that has an internal fan and exhaust system in it) i do it before i quit for the day and just turn the over off and leave it the oven until the next morning when i throw it in sealed pyrex containers and the little moisture detector dealios i put in there w them always show 10% moisture after the oven treatment the young guys using microwaves show moisture in the ~30-something percent range... it still works they just gotta replace it a lot faster... i prefer doing things right... like that long gone boss said... i'm a fusspot but i'm really happy w these little driers--i may have to load up on them in case they stop making them :) took pics of a couple--the one w the white desiccant in there i refilled maybe 2 weeks ago and the purple one i bought new and hooked up only 2 days ago--you can see the color changing in the desiccant comes with when you buy it--its doing its job already as you can see... the desiccant i buy by the gallon (the white stuff) turns yellow as it gets saturated and absorbs great but seems to last a lot longer than the blue stuff that comes w this (which i throw away after one use bc it gets saturated in less than a week--thats fine, its doing its job--but it gets saturated super fast so maybe order some desiccant to refill it w at the same time to order these bc if you paint a lot (or whatever you're using your shop for) they go fast FWIW average humidity where i live is ~60% during the day... not as humid as my shop in hawaii (>90%) or like my shop in the rocky mountains (desert under 10%)
