BARD ACCESS StatLock Universal Plus Stabilization Device Model: VUPD68

I have a nephrostomy tube and I hate getting a stitch in my back to hold the tube in place. I ordered these and wow I must say they are strong and durable. I snagged my tube and it held it in place so tight that it actually broke the tube instead of allowing it to come out of my back.

There are apparently two varieties of this item. One that has a sort of cushioned foam backing and one that is more or less a type of enlarged bandage or steri-strip type of material. The foam backed ones seem to get better wear and last longer than the latter type. I thought, based on the photo, that I was ordering the foam backed type of stabilization device, but received the other type.

Perfect replacement for the same item installed in the hospital OR by the surgical team, easy to apply, and competitive price.

Only stuck to my side For 2 days For the premium price of this product I do not recommend it
