A good choice for value and water balance!
This product worked well. Using 1/2 the recommended amount worked best for us. The water stayed clear and balanced.

Miracle product for our spa!
My boyfriend and I are "newbies" to hot tub care, and have been having problems with water clarity and chemical balance. The water always looked cloudy, and at times looked "green", and we had to, upon the advice of the place where we bought the tub, drain, clean and refill the tub. This guy, in Lansing, Michigan, kept saying we needed to empty our tub several times, run his assortment of cleaners through the system, drain again and again. Ridiculous! A friend told us about this product, Spa Bright and Clear, and said it was fantastic. It is fabulous! Our chemicals were balanced, but the water was cloudy, with a slight "film" on the surface, and I never felt clean getting out of the spa. I added 4 ounces of this product to the tub, let it run for a half hour, and could not believe the stuff that accumulated around the water's edge. It was yellow, the consistency of butter, and I had to get in and use a cleaning sponge to keep removing it and re-running the jets. After three sessions of this, our water is sparkling clean, blue, and crystal clear. Apparently this product causes loose particles to cling together so that you can remove them from the water. I also used a mesh strainer to clean the bubbles from the edges of the tub while the jets were working. Why the business owner never told us about this is a mystery. He sells Leisure Time products, but not this. I love to just look at the hot tub, lights on at night, and marvel at the difference this has made for us. Buy this product! Saved us lots of grief and misery, and we now love our hot tub!

TEN STARS!!!!
I’m a novice hot tub owner. After three weeks, I noticed the water getting cloudy with a greenish tint. All of the chemicals were balanced, but I couldn’t figure out what the problem was. I even changed the disposable filter with no change in water quality. I was instructed to try a clarifier and chose this one based on the number of great reviews. After putting it in the water and letting it circulate about 20 minutes lots of bubbles and scum rose to the surface. I simply scooped out the scummy bubbles and cleaned around the edges. The water was crystal clear in 30 minutes. I’m now making this part of my weekly cleaning routine.

Worked great. Just be ready with a skimmer to gather up the "stuff" that is removed from the water.
Edited after 2nd use... The product worked great... Water was slightly cloudy and is now crystal clear BUT... not after all the tiny particles were gathered together producing thick, greasy foam that caused a ring around the hot tub. Be prepared and advised to skim the gross greasy bubbles out of the hot tub before they became a thick ring and save yourself a bit of panic and time. After doing some research this is 100% normal and expected. I did the research after my first use ans so was surprised by the greasy foam. But now knowing this I am prepared and the product works great to gather the tiny particles that cause the slight cloudiness resulting in crystal clear water. I now am at the ready with a skimmer and after the process is over, a Mr Clean Magic Eraser makes quick work of any ring left behind.

This Stuff Works!
I was skeptical at first because I've tried many different products to clarify my water. None of them worked very well so I ordered Leisure Time Bright and Clear hoping for the best. I gotta tell you, this stuff is magic! It worked just as described. I am very happy with the results and would definitely recommend it.

This stuff is a miracle fix
Our hot tub overnight got very cloudy out of nowhere. All the levels were where they should be, but could not get cloudiness to clear after a shock or any other attempts. Bought this based on the reviews and hoped it would help save me from draining and refilling before schedule. It took two doses over as many days, but this stuff is a miracle product and returned pur opaque and cloudy water to crystal clean. Be prepared to skin and clean and this stuff really makes the minute particles bind together into a gnarly surface scum, but that’s exactly what was needed. Would buy this 100x over. So great!

HOLY COW!!!! This stuff works!
I wish I took pictures to show the difference and how well this works. We had water clarity issues in our 4k gallon swim spa from swimmers not showering before use. All chems were balanced, brand new filters so we tried this. On a Friday afternoon, I followed the directions by the letter and didn't have the amount of scum that some people in these reviews had but definitely did have some. I used the net to skim it off and wiped around the water line with a sponge. Ran a filter clean cycle for 8 hours then again 8 hours the next day. Checked the water on Sunday morning and it was as clear as can be!! I HIGHLY recommend this for clearing up cloudy water in a spa!

COMPLETELY REVOLUTIONIZED OUR SWIM SPA AND ITS CARE!
We got a swim spa (TidalFit) last October and were given a Flippig Frog, some granular chlorine in little "dissolvable" (NOT) packages, and a small bucket of shock for its care. The chlorine was always too high even with the frog on 0-1! Hated the smell. Water was never clear. Junked it. Tried the little packets They never dissolved all the way. Decided to look here to see what everyone else was using that they liked and found Leisure Time. Bright and Clear was my first purchase and I can truly say that I was shocked, no pun intended, when blobs of scum formed after adding it ! YECH!! I was revolted and immediately went to LT website to read more. There, I found a comprehensive list of core products recommended for spa maintenance and their usage. I bought the 5 recommended and Mental Gon and Jet Cleaner anf Filter Cleaner and emptied my spa and started over. The results are BEAUTIFUL!!! Even LT's Test Strips are more comprehensive than the others. My water is truly sparkling, clear and not smelly. I am so grateful that I found this line of products. That they are economically priced is a bonus, but I would pay more for these results! It's such a relief to be maintaning my spa in a healthy, asthetically pleasing way that also preserves my spa pipes and jets! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS and other products in this line!

We use bromine and oxydizer to sanitize our spa. A few months after we got it, all levels were great but the water was not very clear. We cleaned the filters often, shocked the spa, and tried a few products, and this one works like magic! A little goes a long way. We ended up doing 3 treatments over 3 days to clear up all the particles that were too small to be caught in the filter. We use a little, about 1 oz every month or after heavy usage. Haven't had cloudy water since the initial time we cleared our spa water! I highly recommend this product.

This stuff definitely clears the water. Be ready to clean a ring of scum around the edge of your hottub. The first time I used this it left a gross scum line around the edge of the hot tub. I needed about 4 or 5 magic erasers and as many rags to clean the scum afterwords. Use new dollar store erasers as you will need to throw them out after. This clears your water but bd prepared to spend some time cleaning after.

The water clarified, perhaps not as quickly as we expected, but we do not have a comparative so that it cannot be considered good or bad. Just be patient if you put it in and expect immediate results... it took until the next day to look better (we left it and looked again in the morning).
