Can anyone confirm this reciever actually works with a PS5 for 4K/120hz pass through?

These units still haven't had HDMI 2.1 firmware yet, so they are limited to 2.0b, which has no HDMI 2.1 features at all. Yamaha also hasn't saids much to confirm about whether or no these units are affected by the panasonic chipset hdmi 2.1 issues and whether they can be worked around with software or not either. Everyone is simply waiting.

Yamaha announced a program to fix the faulty hdmi 2.1 chips back in may. do these units have the fix?

As of November 2021, the unit CANNOT do 4K/120 unless Yamaha offers to swap the motherboard on the unit. The receivers are defective from manufacturing. Great receiver otherwise but it cannot perform as advertised as it is a flaw in the chip, which cannot be fixed by updating the firmware.

Whenever I connect a yaber pro y9 projector there's no sound coming out of the receiver, and the volume control freezes. Is there a solution for this?

Sound like a cable problem. Make sure the projector has a compatible HDMI cable or compliant to the receiver’s input.

The remote is the worst that I have ever dealt with absolutely garbage! And when you volume up it takes to long for it to show up on screen you need to have this amp beside you if you want to know what input you have because it will not show you on your tv want the tuner ya good luck no button for it you need to go through 15 inputs to find it! If it it had a better remote it could be a 4 star

Lo recomiendo. No soy un audiofilo pero el audio y funcionalidad son estupendos. La combinación de bocinas JAMO y Polk resultó una buena combinación. El aparato tiene aplicaciones como TIDAL que baja directamente la música en formato de alta calidad aunque lo controlas desde la app de Yamaha en el celular.

O receiver é bem bonito, a construção é robusta, os conectores são de qualidade, o controle remoto é minimalista. Entretanto, é necessário ter familiaridade com a tecnologia de configuração e instalação de home teather. O manual é bem completo e complexo. A configuração do setup é muito abrangente. Aos entusiastas da área é um espetáculo. Finalizando, destaco o serviço de assistência técnica prestado na Regional Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte. Estou muito contente com o receiver e com o serviço de pós venda oferecido pelo vendedor.

Mi è arrivato prima del previsto, ben confezionato. Molto intuitivo nei collegamenti e facile da posizionare. App Yamaha molto bella e facile da usare. L’amplificatore suona veramente bene (casse Sonus faber minima come front e monitor audio per le restanti casse) nella scatola mancava il microfono per la calibrazione ma ho contattato il rivenditore ufficiale che ha risposto prontamente sulla spedizione del microfono da parte di Yamaha. Amplificatore che consiglio assolutamente.
