I had a lot of success working with these bags. Customer service was actually right on there A Game give them 5 stars and a thank you very much. I did have some bags tare on me underneath the bottom of the bags in the creases both the 3 lb all in one and the 5lb bulk substrate. Also you should use your bags right away once recieved try to use in 3 to 5 days max really with in 24hrs as they have already been threw shipping. They work really good with ryeberry . I did have verified contaminated bags after checking all cultures prior to innovulation so its likely the contamination was a result of failed sterilization prior to shipping or the 2 week delay after i recieved them prior to innoculating the fault could be mine in that i simply didnt know as much as i thought i did its very possible i needed more imformation. My husband and I are novices with mushroom cultivation, and started doing it as a newly acquired hobby for our personal medicinal and health improvement reasons. The grow kit in-a-bag was extremely easy to use for us novices, and, with little intervention from us, it produced a very substantial amount of mushrooms on the first flush. Now, also without much work on our part, it is producing a second flush of substantial amount of mushrooms. The mushrooms were very large and healthy looking, much bigger in size and also yield than what we obtained from a mono tub. This is very impressive given that we are such novices, it has made our new hobby such an easy and rewarding experience. We have now bought three bags and prefer to use them over the more labor intensive and prone to contamination mono tubs.

Slow to colonize, slow to fruit/harvest. Instructions on how to proceed with a second flush not readily available. Also, Might have to inoculate a second time because it is so slow (save the syringe in airtight bag just in case). Also noticed some contamination towards the end, probably because it took so long. Did get some monster golden oysters at harvest, a little over a 3 quarter Oz.. Second flush 2 quarter Oz. which took a long time and required educated guesses on how to do it. Why 5 stars? It got my foot in the door which is priceless considering it is a very challenging hobby. *Update it seems their quality standards have gone down. No longer using rubber stops for the inoculation point and they opted for some kind of grey cheap foam that looks like window strip insulation with some plastic tape over it. Doesn't seem to seal the bag properly as I got contamination right away the third time I used this product. 1st time great with rubber stops. Second time half mushroom, half green mold (not teal), it's the same mold that other reviewer's mentioned. To cut cost, they seem to be shooting themselves in the foot. I boiled the 3rd bag and reused with Uncle Ben's ready-serve spawn, to make lemonade out of a real lemon of a product.
