I've been using these Lungo Intenso Nespresso pods from Amazon for almost a year now with my Lor coffee machine by Philips, and I'm honestly still impressed with them. The intensity level gives me that perfect strong kick in the morning without being too bitter or overwhelming. What keeps me coming back is definitely the price, they're the cheapest option I've found that doesn't compromise on quality. I've tried several other budget friendly alternatives, but these strike the best balance between cost and taste. The pods fit perfectly in my machine with no leakage issues, and I love the rich crema they produce every time. Sometimes I notice that the machine wouldn't pierce the pod like original Nespresso pods, and occasionally I'll get a pod that doesn't extract completely. But for the savings I'm getting, I can definitely live with these minor inconveniences. If you're looking to save some money on your daily coffee habit without sacrificing that authentic espresso experience, these Lungo Intenso pods are definitely worth adding to your routine. After a year of daily use, they've become my go-to option for reliable, affordable coffee that still feels like a treat.

I usually buy Lidl pods for my value coffee but these Lungo Intenso give a perfectly decent cup of coffee at an even better price. I have not had any issues with fit but water flow is definitely slower than with Lidl pods. Yes, these are plastic pods but I rinse mine out - composting the used coffee and popping the pods into the mixed recycling. Supplied as two boxes of 50 pods - my only disappointment so far has been finding my first box contained only 49 pods when I loaded my storage drawer.

The flavour of these pods is ok but strength wise they are lacking. I use two per drink to be acceptable and so the fact they are half price of most others defeats the object. I am a bit worried that they are also plastic and , although no problems thus far, I read they can break up in the machine if your not careful. to sum up, they are not the best but not the worst but I will not be re-ordering.

You get what you pay for with this coffee. It’s not the highest quality, but it’s a good value for the money. The flavour isn’t great, there’s a bit of a bitter or burnt taste, but I find that adding some oat milk helps smooth it out. It works fine as a basic morning or everyday coffee. If you’re looking for something affordable and don’t mind compromising a bit on taste, this gets the job done.

Garbage. I bought these along with a load of other Nespresso pods when I bought the L'Or Barista machine. These are terrible. The coffee is weak, and that's if you're lucky enough to get a coffee as they routinely simply don't puncture and you turn back to find a cup of slightly dirty water. Truly terrible. I wish I had returned for a refund when I could rather than persevere and try pressing them in or seating them differently.

I took a gamble buying these, as the only option was to buy in bulk of 100 capsules, but at £12 seemed quite a bargain. I like Lidl's own brand of Nespresso so I though that these would be the same, and they pretty much are, its a nice everyday coffee that won't break the bank, the intenso title is a bit misleading, as its not a strong lungo coffee, and its not a special coffee either, but for everyday drinking at a cheap price its perfect! No issues working with my Nespresso Touch machine, haven't had any caps get stuck or fail to dispense so far

La prima cosa che ho notato è stata la comodità delle confezioni: due scatole da 50 capsule ciascuna sono perfette per una buona scorta senza occupare troppo spazio. Il sapore del caffè è davvero ottimo. Ha un gusto ricco e pieno, con una tostatura media che esalta gli aromi senza risultare troppo forte o amaro. Ogni tazza è una delizia, con una crema densa e invitante, proprio come al bar. Inoltre, il fatto che siano certificate Rainforest Alliance mi fa sentire bene nel sapere che sto sostenendo pratiche agricole sostenibili. Le capsule sono perfettamente compatibili con la mia macchina Nespresso, e non ho avuto problemi di inceppamenti o malfunzionamenti. Ogni capsula eroga una dose di caffè consistente e ben bilanciata. Offrono un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Se stai cercando un caffè gustoso e sostenibile per la tua Nespresso, ti consiglio vivamente di provarle. Non resterai deluso.

I finally got through the first 50-pod box so I feel I can offer feedback on these now. The pods are plastic with foil and this is reasonable at this price point. The coffee is very drinkable, it isn't harsh or bitter and is to me is good for everyday use. I prefer Lungos and I am happy to have a solid budget option when so many inexpensive pods are Espresso. I am looking forward to ordering more of these when my existing stock runs out. I had a small amount of trouble with a few pods failing to puncture, but I suspect that is the fault of my L'or Barista Sublime.

Very good value for money, unfortunately not very strong for my taste. The coffee machine does seem to struggle a bit more than with other pods but it works.
