AncestryDNA is interesting and the results were detailed, giving a good overview of my heritage and potential relatives. The testing process itself was simple, and the kit was easy to use. My main issue was the wait — it took much longer than I expected to get the results, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, it’s a useful service, but the slow turnaround left me feeling a little underwhelmed.

Amazing, good instructions, great value for money telling me loads about my DNA and my family From what I know it's very accurate, the only downside in the app is that you have to pay for certain information.

The ancestry kit was great, traits not as much. It was like reading my horoscope. This could be you or this could not be you. Many were right, many were wrong. Perhaps there's something in astrology after all! Apart from that, the whole ancestry experience was great and I got my results early too. However, I wouldn't have wasted my money on the traits if I knew how bad they were going to be.

I purchased two of these DNA kits as Christmas gifts at £95 each, and unfortunately the experience has been very disappointing. The testing process itself was straightforward, but the results we received felt extremely limited and lacking in meaningful detail. Most of the information provided was quite basic, and much of what might be considered more useful or in-depth appears to be locked behind an additional paid subscription. Even then, it’s not entirely clear what extra value the subscription actually provides. Given the price point, I expected far more insight without needing to commit to ongoing monthly fees. As it stands, the initial results alone do not feel sufficient to justify the cost. This product may be of interest to those who are willing to pay for continued access and explore the platform further, but based on my experience, I would not personally recommend it at this price.

Purchased this as gift and did the job. Happy with this purchase.

Quick delivery and in depth results

All ok with the order and nice gift but lose stars as its not very clear that there is an extra charge for the subscription to the site, and its not cheap. If you are buying this as a gift beware that the recipient will need to spend more money to use the site properly. Not really what you want when you are giving someone a present!
