I have taken this for about three weeks now. Here is what I have noticed (several effects): -Increased energy. It is a calm, progressive, and clear energy. Cordyceptin in the powder will increase oxygenation of your blood which helps the old noggin, regardless of how old. -Increased focus: Again, higher levels of oxygen in the blood improve your focus. I don’t know the mechanisms behind how mushroom compounds do this. I personally feel a heightened level of focus. I personally have used 2000mg (4 capsules) to achieve these levels and I am flying through tasks like it’s nothing. Less brain fog, less impedance to thoughts. It’s like a flood gate had been opened. This is, however, anecdotal to me. It may be different for you. Pro tip: buy yourself a good methylated B-complex to pair. -Increased stamina: I am most definitely noticing increased ability to breathe deeper and last longer under strenuous tasks. Libido is increased for sure. New mattress will soon be needed. Fighters- this is for you. That tight chest feeling that you get during an intense sparring bout goes away and you feel like you can push through. Yes you have your limits but you feel like you can lift them with more power and progress. Some of Tyson intensity. Some notes on this as a “nootropic”. Studies on rodent brain cells have shown that it actually increases dendritic outgrowth in the frontal cortex more effectively than lion’s mane. It’s also pro-androgenic so you won’t notice a loss of libido. I believe the hippocampus also has higher levels of dendritic growth (that is, the growth of inter neural connectivity). The increase over lion’s mane is some 20% more. I personally haven’t noticed some enhanced cerebral miracle with lion’s mane but I feel like cordyceps may take the cake. There are numerous lab studies on neural growth with cordyceps- check them out. Overall, I recommend this. I also take their lion’s mane and to be honest, would favour cordyceps over the former. I’d order more cordyceps for sure. Capsules taste mushroom-y but you don’t take these for culinary zeal. I do hope my anecdotal experience helps someone. When I take these prior to hiking up hills I'm able to breathe much easier than before, can't comment on other supposed benefits but, it's great for what I need. I've tried other brands some of which do the same but, these are the best value for content I have found so far. Although I do take them daily now even when I'm not hiking which I'm not sure is nessasary, could save myself some change by only using during exercise/hiking.
