Armor3 "Nuplay" Wired Game Controller for PS3 (Black)

The good: Works with my PS3 & PC. A good replacement for the official game pads. Analog sticks work rather well. The Bad: The D-Pad feels stiff, not good for fighting games.

***** Update: December 4th, 2023 So, I decided to give the model a 2nd try. Maybe my first of this brand was a fluke. This one does not have the stick drift. Yay. But, now, a new issue. The shoulder button, the one you use with your pointer finger, goes activates at random times. I'll set the controller down for a few minutes, and watch the screen act as if I am holding the button down one moment, and the next, tapping away. Since this is my second controller, I think it is safe to say the quality control from these controllers are subpar. Yes, they are inexpensive controllers, but save yourself the headache and look for one $5-$10 more and skip the poor quality. End Update from Dec 4th 2023 ****************** I have purchased a few replacement PS3 controllers as after about 6 months, the analog stick tends to drift without input. If you are not familiar with what I am referring to, it is when you not using the analog sticks (could even put the controller down), but system receives input from the controller like you are pushing the stick in one direction. It is always the same direction. This is annoying and ruins most experiences. Most of these cheaper controllers suffer from this issue after about 6 months of use, but this one happened on day two. I could return, but I had the unopened product for a couple months before opening, so guess that is on me. Anyway, I would suggest skipping this one. Seems there is zero quality control.

Controller works great. It’s a nice option if you want a cheap alternative, it does feel cheep but that’s to be expected with a cheap 3rd party controller. I wouldn’t recommend this if your a hard core gamer but for just casual gameplay this works perfect.

Works fine with ps3

worked with my PS 3 but not with Openemu on my Mac, at least correctly. OpenEmu sees it as a joystick. Had to make all key assignments and did not make good choices, unable to correct.

We had to replace my husband’s controller. It took a few days to get the right one but as soon as it came peace once again settled over the house.
