Leg Pillows

THIS IS AN AWESOME PURCHASE,AND THE PRICE IS JUST MAGNIFICENT. I CAN NOW HAVE LEGS THAT FUNCTION AND GREATLY REDUCE THE SORES,PAIN AND RISK TO MY LEGS DUE TO EDEMA AND BRITTLE DIABETES,KIDNEY DISEASE...ALSO I AM ABLE TO REDUCE BACK PAIN FROM HERNIATED DISCS AND OTHER TERRIBLE INJURIES I OBTAINED,,,THAT WERE CAUSED BY A HORRIFIC SERIAL/CRIMMINAL OFFENDER.I DID SURVIVE BUT DEAL WITH A NUMBER OF ISSUES NOW.I ALREADY HAD SOME BUT SOME OF THEM WERE CAUSED IN ADDITION TO MY PREVIOUS AILMENTS...THIS PILLOW HAS LITERALLY GIVEN ME SOME HOPE BY NOW HAVING AND ''FEELING'' THE DIFFERENCES IN THE PAIN SEVERITY THAT LESSENS WITH EVERY USE. I have two very serious neurological diseases that cause me a great deal of pain. It helps me to have my legs elevated and since my bed isn't capable of doing that for me I thought I would try to find an alternative. When I saw this I thought I had found what would be my answer. I was so excited when it arrived and immediately had it put on the bed for me. I immediately noticed that it was pretty high and as I used it I became even more aware that it was indeed too high. As a result it can cause a loss of circulation in my legs actually adding to my discomfort. It is also quite hard for me. Since my legs are extremely sensitive I feel pain when anything touch my feet and legs so the hardness of the foam became a real issue for me. I finally got one of my fake mink throws and covered it with that to help ease the hardness for me and that helps a little bit but I still must deal with the height issue which I haven't quite figured out how to fix yet.Until I can afford the very expensive ergonomic bed frames (They cost around $3600 plus the cost of the mattress which is another $3000) that I truly need according to my doctors I will continue to make do with what I have.This item might work well for someone that doesn't have the serious medical issues that I have.

This is a great pillow to elevate your knees and sleep comfortably on your back. I suffer from a neck sprain from many years ago, and that now exhibits some arthritis. After physical therapy and many visits to the chiropractor, the chiropractor recommended I learn to sleep on my back with an orthopedic pillow under my head. I tried (have always used the ortho pillow) to break the habit on sleeping on my side and in a semi-fetal position to help with the pain but ended up with some back pain. He told me to elevate and/or separate my legs and viola! This works great and I sleep better for it without suffering "that get out of bed" pain that plagued me before. I wish the made a blowup version (well maybe they do?) so I could take it on vacation with me. They only drawback is the covering is a little chintzy...but I opted for the least expensive version. A buy!

Really took my back pain away. A good size for a petite size women 5'3" or under. Also, the woman needs to be at normal body weight with legs of normal size. I hate to say that but a "plus" size woman could be 5' 3" or less and the leg area would not be adequate. I ordered more as my back issue is osteoporosis and neuropathy and they are basically not going to go away.. I cancelled my last nerve block because I was painless in my lower back. and I am using much less medication. I still avoid lifting anything heavy, stairs and bending over. This pillow works for me.

not quite long enough, picture is a tiny misleading but just a tiny bit.. the model is tiny, So from my heal to the bottom of my calf (about 6 inches) hangs off the edge that is when the pad is against my bottom... its fabulous if your with in 5'1' to 5'4....other then that, it is SUPER firm... very good buy...

I read all the reviews that said that the pillow was too small, but since I am only 5'2", I thought it was unlikely to be an issue for me. Wrong. It really is ridiculously small. My feet hung way off the end, and you really don't have any wiggle room on the sides. I don't know whether this is because my feet were dangling, but the one time I tried to use it, I found that my legs had fallen asleep after an hour or two. I think the pillow may be too high to be used for more than short stretches at a time – I certainly couldn't sleep on it all night. Also, the cover ripped the first time I tried to put it on the pillow. It really isn't a good product. The only reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one is that the dimensions were provided, so it's my own fault for not realizing that they wouldn't work.

This has been helpful in the summer when I tend to get edema. I was worried about what would happen when I inevitably rolled to my side and the possibility of pushing it to my husband's side of the bed thereby waking him. However, I discovered that in my sleep, I had a tendency to put this between my legs keeping my right foot elevated but tucking my left foot under like a knee pillow. When I rolled back onto my back, I would put my feet back up. It's nothing more than a piece of foam with a cheap pillowcase on it but it works.
