The silicone mesh mats fit my old bamboo steamers perfectly! Also, can be cut down in size. Over many years, I have patiently cut small pieces of parchment paper on which to place dumplings, etc., in order to avoid sticking to the steamer bottom. However, here we have a much more practical solution! I also use square mats, exactly the same silicone variety, on my dehydrator trays.

So easy to clean I just put them in the dishwasher. Trimmed to fit my basket.

I am very happy for this way to have dumplings not sticking to the pot. Washing is easy, but only hand wash works. In the dishwasher, however I placed it, it never gets clean. So handwashing, but it is not hard if you do it against flat surface.

The reusable steamer liners are great. I've tried them twice now since I've purchased them and each time I've had no problems washing them. They are non-stick and release the buns very easily. They do leave a small waffle impression on the bottom of the buns. What I like the most about the steamer mats is that I no longer need to cut and use parchment paper for the bun bottoms. It's much easier to simply place the buns on the mats and allow them to rise. I'd recommend them.

I used to use parchment paper and cut small holes to let the steam pass through. But these reusable steamer liners made everything a lot easier. It not only lets my dumplings steam without a problem, but I don’t have to deal with cleaning messes or sticky dumpling wrapper on my bamboo steamer.
