I got this to replace a commercial high bay power supply that went bad. This new unit works great. I had to drill new holes since the mounting holes didn't line up with the old one. Now the question is how long will this last. I've only had this for a few weeks and I don't use this light too much so I may need to revisit this review in a year or two. LED PS are notorious for pooping out after a year or two.

Led Driver work like a champ! 100% satisfying

Received 50W 850nm LED and mounted it to a 50W sink using TG-7 heat sink compound and used a Noctua NF-A8 fan on a separate feed. Tested this with an adjustable switching regulated power supply set to a max voltage of 18V and max current of 1500mA. LED worked fine (verified with near IR camera). Purchased this supply to assure compatibility with the LED for normal use. On first use, it "killed" the LED which cost nearly double the price of the supply. LED now tests "open" and voltage at the terminals is at 53V!! So much for brand compatibility. I' have several high power visible Chanzon LEDs still working with homemade supplies.

This driver is very reasonable in price. I purchased it to replace a defective driver in a old LED flood fixture. It works great and it fit in the fixture without any modification.

Works excellent

The driver I purchased was marked as a 1500mA 18v-34v output. When I hooked it up to a Cree 60W COB the light would blink/flash as if the overload protection was tripping. I checked the output with a voltmeter and it read 45 Volts, which at 1500mA was actually putting out 67Watts, overloading the LED. By the time I realized all this my return window was closed so I'm stuck with a unit I can't use. I just ordered the smaller driver (900mA) and I'll post actual output test results. UPDATE The 900mA unit worked well with my 60w cob. As with the other unit, the output voltage was higher than specified, I was getting 46volts which at 900mA was delivering about 41 watts, an acceptable value for a 60w cob. I recommend testing the unit and calculating the actual wattage before hooking it up.

Installed 20 minutes, needed wire splices to finish. It works well so for. Bought this for replacing a 34VDC 970ma driver that went bad. It is brighter than it was before. Will see if LED strips will last with this CC driver.
