Spigen Tough Armor Designed for Galaxy S22 Ultra Case (2022) - Black

One of the best features of this case is the way the case is raised above all of the cameras. This phone has the best camera on a phone of all of the phones made. It takes professional pictures and is easy for anyone to use. Because it is raised your lenses never touch any surface and will keep the camera lenses scratch free. Why have the best cameras made when your lenses get all scratched and jacked up. Not only does it protect them from getting jacked up it looks awesome while doing it. The case is nice and sleek and fits the phone as perfect as it can. The other thing is it feels good in your hand and doesn't slip out of it which is great. The little kick stand is functional if you want to lean your phone up to watch a video and did I mention just how dang good it looks. It doesn't cheapen the look of the phone like alot of other case do but adds some elegance to it. What sucks is when your case makes your awesome phone look like a two bit knock off but not this case. It also has very good drop protection which I have unfortunately tested a few times already which I have dropped it on a corner on cement and my phone and case still look like a million bucks. So if you have a hard time deciding on which case to buy, which it took me a week going through and reading a million reviews and looking at a million cases before I finally pulled thr trigger stop looking. I could not be happier with a case that looks this good bit at the same time protecting it which is the main reason for buying a case. After buying this brand snd now using it for 2 months they have earned a loyal customer for life, and will buy this brand for every new phone that I buy in the future which is always 1 every year. Awesome protection, awesome looks, and for an awesome price. They could sell this case easily for more money but I appreciate this company for keeping its prices down, which tells me they care about their customers who purchase their product. Keep up the good work and thank you for making the perfect case that anyone can afford. You can't do it better than these guys and they have definitely set the standard high. So high that you can't find a case that does its job so well that makes you want to show off to everyone you ever come in contact to. Hell I have already talked 9 people into buying one if these which didn't take much talking because people take one look at this puppy and it sells itself. 👍❤❤❤😁

First, I’m very satisfied with this case. The case is very sturdy, and I sure will add protection. Additional reinforcement at the corners to distribute impact loads would be desirable, but I’m sure would detract somewhat from the thin, sleek design. All openings and buttons align properly. I purchased a green S22 Ultra, and the green case is a very similar color. The case fits snugly – so snugly that it’s a struggle to get it off, but it can be done. It’s easy enough to remove and insert the S Pen, and the slight recess may help protect it from accidental dislodging. The heavily knurled side button makes it easy to locate by feel. Some observations: The kickstand closes snugly, however, when open, the hinge feels somewhat fragile. I’m not sure how long it will last it used often. There is no protection for the camera lenses or the screen. The case fits snuggly around the camera lenses, so I would expect that few lens protection kits would not conflict with the fit. I would expect that most, if not all, screen protectors could be used with this case. A slightly raised lip around the screen (that does not exist) could offer some protection when resting screen-down. I drilled two small holes (7/64”) in the black band at the top, opposite the lenses, to attach a wrist strap. I threw the small tool for opening the SIM tray into the case before installing the phone. 08-29-2022 I should have added: If you are using an induction charger - wireless charger - DO NOT place the SIM-drawer key in the case. The induction power will heat it up and will cause damage, probably to both phone and case.

Had this case since 2023! Just now is the case starting to look like it has taken a beating (totally my fault. I drop my phone all the time). This case has stood the test of time. I went to order another one because I love this case to see it is not in stock. I got my case in black, that was the only color at the time of purchase, button control is still going well, easy to take on and off, just snaps on, my screen is perfect because this case has protected it so well! The raised bevels keep my screen protected! 10/10 was worth the money I paid for it!

I've been using the Spigen Tough Armor case with my Galaxy S22 Ultra for a few days now, and overall, it's a solid upgrade from my previous Samsung leather case. Pros: The fit is mostly great, and the case feels rugged and well-built. I really like the grip-it's not too sticky and not too slick. It gives me confidence when holding the phone. It feels like it offers solid protection (though I haven't dropped it yet to test that-fingers crossed). Cons: The only issue I've had is on the right side where the buttons are. The case doesn't sit completely flush there, and sometimes you hear a little "click" like it's shifting slightly. It's not a deal-breaker, but noticeable. The kickstand on the back is underwhelming. It only works in landscape mode and feels flimsy, as other reviewers have mentioned. Definitely not the most stable or versatile stand. All in all, it's a tough, functional case with a few small quirks. If you want something rugged without going full-on tank mode, this is a good option. I'll update if and when I have a drop test to report on!

Had a Tough Armour on my S10 for the last 3 years and it's been fantastic, so it was the first thing I bought for my new S22 Ultra. I've dropped my S10 while running, banged off concrete, tile and asphalt floors multiple times a month, and the phone always survived without a scratch or crack to this very day. Quality on the S22 case seems pretty comparable, if not a bit better. The corners look little sturdier on this new case. The case back is slightly more slippery than my old S10, enough that I noticed it but its not bad at all and its likly I have just worn the smoothness off of the old one. The case adds more thickness to the phone than my older S10 case, the difference between case and phone back by the cameras is maybe 2-2.5mm on S10 case and 2.5-3.5mm on the S22. Good lips on the top and bottom of case for screen protection when the phone is face down. Stand is flimsy, but very usable and honestly perfect for my uses and snaps back in place very solidly. Easy access to S Pen and it has very clicky buttons. My only gripe is the green color doesn't quite match the green of the phone. It's passable and looks better than a black case on a green phone but it's still noticeably a different green. Overall great case and I highly recomend.

A very solid case, rubber sides help with a good grip, all the cut out fit perfectly and made with a good quality. My 3 drawbacks with this: 1) it's a bit bulky, although I do get it that a good protective case needs to have some "meat", it just feels a bit too much; 2) the supporting leg feels a bit flimsy, as in with larger angle position is feels ok, but when I turn the phone around to lay closer to the surface the leg feels like it may be broken at some point, - will see how it holds with time; 3) there's little to no screen protection on the sides of the screen, top and bottom seem to protect it enough but the sides, in case the phone falls on something smaller in length compared to the full phone length, it may damage the screen. Obviously it is related to any case without a full front protection, but just something to keep in mind. And I think it was done on purpose to expose the curved screen of the phone, so there probably is no uniform solution to that. Otherwise looks like a very solid protective case with enough surrounding materials to protect the phone.

It's 2/20/22 as of writing this review so obviously I don't have my S22 Ultra yet but I decided to buy a good protective case for such an expensive phone. This case feels sturdy and I do trust Spigen as a brand. I've actually been using their Tough Armor case on my Pixel 3 for the past three years and I will say that I've dropped my phone plenty of times and there hasn't been any kind of damage. I will say that the kickstand is a little flimsy though. There have been times when I dropped my Pixel 3 and the kickstand popped off. It was easily popped back in but still, it doesn't look like they've really improved the kickstand for that S22 Ultra case. Still, I would recommend this case for now solely on its ability to protect your phone. Obviously I can't say for sure, how well it protects the S22 Ultra but it's a good case to get if you want to add the protection to your expensive phone as soon as you get it on 2/25/2022. I'll update this review once I get the phone. **UPDATE Feb 22** So I've received the phone early (fedex might have made a mistake to my favor because it wasn't supposed to come in till the 25th). I've attached a few more photos with the phone. I was afraid it would add more bulk to the phone but it really doesn't. The phone does feel protected and it has decent grip as well. So far so good. I'll post one more update once I've actually dropped the phone with the case (which I'm sure I will). **UPDATE Mar 7** So I did drop the case a few times and they were mostly light falls but today it fell pretty hard in hard uneven pavement and I'm happy to say that there is no damage to the phone! It fell screen first but not scratches or anything on the screen.

Unique smooth appearance, the color and functionality is great. It is durable and effortless to use. Wireless charging gets through. This finish wears down a little over time, but I've had several soft drops and it's durability is worth the price. The kickstand is rigid enough. There are no magnets with this case, but who actually needs one.

Have one on S23 ultra.. Now bought this one for the wife.. Top quality.. Mine used for more than a year, dropped phone 50+ times, nothing happened both to the phone as well as the case.. Highly recommend product.

Tried some other brands before but non is as good as this one...
