This book is gorgeous! It has small pieces of literature here and there, I will read in the future. The rest of it is pure picture content of beautiful blooms, architecture and more which is so satisfying. It feels like an intimate look at Paris. What’s great the author has provided the locations of where the pictures were taken in case you decide you want to see it yourself. This book is very pleasing with visual texture and a soft color palet. A tasteful addition to your bookcase or coffee table decor, and a great motivator to visit Paris.

While browsing my Instagram feed recently, I cam across the book “Paris in Bloom” by Georgianna Lane. Just looking at the cover, I knew I had to order this book right away. I absolutely devoured this book in one sitting. The beautiful photography taken by Lane transported me to the lush gardens and fabulous flower shops of Paris. Not only is the book stunning but her Instagram feed is a dream come true. Go give her a follow. Her other books include a floral series dedicated to Roses, Peonies and Dahlias. The new Cities in Bloom series now includes Paris, New York and London is coming in 2020. While I read this book in one sitting, I know its a book that I will return to again and again. It’s currently sitting on my coffee table and makes a great book for guests to check out when visiting. I definitely have a few gardens and floral spots I want to visit in Paris after reading Paris In Bloom.

What a lovely book! The pictures are stunning. This is an artistic photo journal of all the stunning places and details of picturesque Paris. The photos are to savor. There is not a lot of text, there is just enough. Because lots of writing do not do this beautiful city justice. Images do. For someone who has always dreamt of visiting Paris, this book makes me want to go even more! If you love Paris and flowers, I would think you would love this book, like me!

It's no surprise that Paris In Bloom is a Best Seller, it is absolutely exquisite! I have been admiring Georgianna Lane's beautiful work for some time now and knew that whatever she released would be lovely but I couldn't have imagined how breath taking this book would be. The lovely floral photography and finer details of Paris, along with the tones and cohesive flow of the book are simply mesmerizing. The pairing of beautiful floral photography with Paris' intricate details - page after page are heavenly! I long to visit Paris and am very grateful for Georgianna's ability to allow me to experience Paris and it's finer details until my dream of actually being in Paris myself comes true. And when it does, I will know exactly where to visit from her Spring Tour of Blossoms and Blooms section. Grab a hot cup of coffee or tea, get cozy and enjoy the beautiful journey of Paris' delights in ways you never could have imagined. This book is a treasure!!

This is a very special book! There is photography and then there is PHOTOGRAPHY! The setting is Paris in all of its beauty. The amazing thing is that Georgianna uses the beauty of Paris as a foil for the natural beauty that saturates the city. Flowers, plants, trees, bulbs and blooms are magnificently (and dreamily) photographed and celebrated. Blooms become incredible works of art through her lens. Georgianna knows the plant world well and even includes a field guide for the different blooms featured in the book. This is a beautiful book that is hard to put down. The photography, the paper and design of the book are all very elegant. By the way, If you're not following her on Instagram, you are missing out on daily inspiration from all over the world. I can't recommend this book enough and encourage you to follow her on Instagram. Enjoy!

The photos are stunning, and the curation is wonderful, showing some beautiful architectural details (eg, plaster moldings, corbels, ironwork) or paintings paired with flowers with similar forms or colors. This was really enjoyable and showed a great eye for detail. The only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is that a little more to read, more detail about the locations, or expressive writing about the smells or the experience of being in each park, market, garden would have been nice. The writing that is there is well done, I'd just like a little more of it.

I was so excited to receive my copy of Paris in Bloom this afternoon. Each photograph in this book is gorgeous, light-filled, beauty-FULL. One of my favorite things about Paris in Bloom is the unexpected pairings. On one page you'll have a single rose in a tiny pot, and on the facing page is a mirror hand-painted with pale pink roses. One of my favorite pairings is a clutch of antique books with gold roses on the spines next to a picture of two fully opened white roses on marble. Wow! Georgianna Lane has an eye for beauty and the talent to capture it in a way that allows the rest of us to stroll beside her on her Paris walks. Her flower photographs are so lifelike that, I swear, my house began to smell of roses and lily of the valley. Not only will this book set you to dreaming of your own Paris visit, but Georgianna has even given a Spring Tour of Blossoms and Blooms at the back of the book. I certainly hope to take that tour some day. Till then, I'll dream with Ms. Lane.

Per gli amanti del genere è sicuramente un libro molto valido. Le foto sono meravigliose, la carta è un po’ spessa (non troppo, bisogna stare attenti a non piegare male le pagine) e dai toni opachi. Il libro è un po’ più piccolo del formato A4, tuttavia le immagini si vedono molto bene ed è una piccola delizia per gli occhi.
