So I ordered this razor because my old battery powered fusion handle stopped working. I didn't care about ProGlide Shield at all. In fact, when I started using the razor (Feb 1), I was annoyed IMMEDIATELY that my lip felt oozy. Turns out that was the aloe strip creating an aloe glide layer. Well, I wasn't a fan of that. But that is what the razor blade says it will do, so while not a huge fan, I can't dock it points for doing a better job than one would think possible at providing a lubrication layer. That seemed to last for literally a month or more. I shave 3 times a week, typically and I was just waiting for the aloe to run out. It took a while... So then I've been thinking about replacing the blade because I still have 20+ fusion blades waiting for their call to the big leagues, HOWEVER, this stupid blade won't stop shaving perfectly. It's May 1st, so I've used this blade for a full 3 months (approx 36 shaves), and it is still giving me clean, close shaves with no pulling. I'm impressed enough that I've thought about replacing the blade and writing a review for a month. Today I decided to write the review, but it will still likely be another week or two before I replace the blade.This razor blade works incredibly well. If you are price sensitive and looking to save money, I would actually say that this is a better investment than any disposables or $3 razor blades that won't last 40 uses.I didn't like the slimy feel of the protective aloe strip, but it works, and once that's gone, you don't have to deal with it anymore.

After years my previous razor broke and I decided to try a razor for more sensitive skin. I thought the swivel and vibrating feature of this razor was a gimmick but tried it out. The first two shaves on the new razor were faster and the hard spots on my neck that usually require multiple passes from different angle were far easier and no razor burn. Whatever film the yellow pads around this razor cause it seems to help a lot.Not only was the shave faster, it was smoother in a single pass.Pretty good razor for 15 dollars and it doesn't require a contract and credit cards and non-stop monthly bills. Also the razors themselves on their previous Fusion models seemed to last longer so under the assumption a single razor lasts a month of shaves still its a good value. Also its nice that I can still use up the two remaining blades I have from the previous model with this update.The company PR has been bad for a few years but it seems like they are trying to make a comeback with better prices to value ratio. Comparing it to blades that need replacing after 4 or 5 shaves its just cheaper but a higher quality shave.

I got this one to replace my old Gillette razor, it lasted several years. Great value when considering how long they last. One of the concerns is the blades can be expensive, I watch Amazon and can usually buy a quantity at a much reduced cost!

I just needed a new razor and this one looked like it had alot of movement to get everything on my face. I did not know it did what it dose. Long story short I used it ones without the special feature then the wife found the special feature and ever since then it has gone missing. One's and a while I hear it late at night and I have been seriously thinking about calling ghost adventures to tell that sprite that its save to leave this world and go into the light..

I am so impressed with this razor. I have extremely sensitive skin, and before purchasing this, I was using the Gillette Sensitive Skin Guard razor, which actually caused more cuts than this one. This was the smoothest shave I’ve ever had, and I didn’t experience a single cut or razor bump. The vibrating feature is amazing and makes a noticeable difference. I will definitely be purchasing this razor again and again!

I didn't understand what the battery does when I ordered it. But When I tried it the vibration helps cut the stubs. So it doesn't pull the stubs out to cut it, which make them go under the skin and create ingrown hairs. So good job Gillette for this razor.

Sin duda el mejor rastrillo, corte al ras y sin irritar los repuestos son un poco caros pero vale totalmente la pena.Facilita bastante la rasurada rápida y perfecta, uso un Gillette King C de navaja doble filo para uso diario y este fusion5 lo uso para cuando quiero un rasurado perfecto y muy liso como pompis de bebé.

Feela great to shave with this but don't know if it's any different from other Fusion razors

Nice to hold as its heavy

I've had several of these Power Fusion razors. The vibration from the battery does give an easier and closer shave. At some point they give out (or I lose them), so I buy another
